Beautiful location and very quiet.

The location is beautiful and nestled near a a calm town with nice restaurants and a really local feel to it.
The staff were super friendly and helpful, and helped us with numerous topics, from beach recommendations to renting services.
A handful of things could be improved:
- Wifi: our connection barely reached our room, and the area is also a network dead-zone. This was very frustrating.
- Noise: there was a wedding one day with loud music, and the room is not very well noise insulated.
- Pool: the pool area isn't very welcoming, and the water was too warm and often full of insects, so we barely used it.
- Access: the path from the parking is gravel; bringing our suitcases to the room was very uncomfortable

It felt like a complete escape and was like nothing else we had seen.

The staff and that the place is quiet
Pictures don't reflect reality. We had a junior suite and the pictures didn't show what we had, we were expecting a big terrace and it wasn't the case.
But the most important thing was the smell. As soon as we opened the door there was a strong smell of damp, we tried to open all the doors to get rid of the smell but we just couldn't. The smell was so intense that we couldn't sleep properly. During the day we tried not to stay in the room because it made us very uncomfortable. We talked to the staff about it, they told us it was because the room was closed for the winter, which could make sense, but the smell was so intense that we are not sure if it will be different in a few weeks or even months. It was the same in the gym, the same kind of damp smell, we couldn't use the gym as it was so intense. It would be nice to keep the doors of the fitness centre open to refresh the air, but the door is kept closed all day, so we can imagine the smell will stay forever... Finally, the breakfast is not so good, especially the coffees that taste like boiled water. We paid for 2 breakfasts in advance but we didn't even take the second one, preferring to have breakfast outside.
We fell sorry for the staff has they are very nice and friendly but the price of the property didn’t reflect the standing.
