I liked this place, because it has a feeling of the „good old days”. Good food. The ocean was roaring right next to the house.

Breakfast was adequate and I liked the rustic veranda that housed the tables. The service was friendly and the food fresh. Especially loved the home made breads. It was nice to stay at a beachfront property. We missed out on the snorkelling which we heard was one of the best on the island. We were given excellent information on how to get around the island and hire a car. We were also driven to the car rental
I would not recommend ordering the evening meal. We felt it was overpriced for what we got. Especially the wine.
We expected rustic accommodation and that is what we got, but we were disappointed with the view out from the kitchen onto a yard that could have been cleaned up. The second day a worker did come and remove some of the garden debis.

Situé à un endroit calme au bord de l’océan, le lodge était confortable et agréable. On recommande vivement la cuisine de Lovina pour le dîner, un de nos meilleurs repas en Polynésie !

Great spot for snorkelling and swimming, the strong current close to shore make for good training sessions, but might be a problem for young children.
Breakfast is minimal, half a baguette and banana jam! As ever, French coffee is to be missed.
