We loved the roof deck for watching sunset and the close proximity to our family for holiday family fun. The rooms were large so my sister and I did not have to fight over them.

We enjoyed our stay in your home. The kitchen was well supplied. There was plenty of room for everyone in our party. The beds were comfortable. It is close to the beach and we liked that. The weather was pleasant. The only problem I had was the price in the listing was deceiving. There were many additional fees and costs that really added up. I felt many were unnecessary and deceptive. I felt a little taken advantage of. I wish all the costs were more transparent

We enjoyed the spacious property and amenities. Good cleanliness and comfortable beds. Close proximity to Annie's Canyon hike and hike to the beach from there, which was our reason for selecting this property location. TV operation a bit complicated we were unable to play a movie DVD, although we could hear it from the speaker, so that was a bit strange. Bikes in the garage all have flat tires, so maybe that could be improved. Otherwise, it met all our requirements and we had a great time. Thank you.

Lots of room to spread out indoors and out. Easy access to ocean, city of Encinitas, bike paths and I-5. Although near the I-5, neighborhood and home quiet and peaceful for our group.

Took a long weekend to escape the AZ heat and hit the beach. Although not on the water, this is a great location! Moonlight beach is a 3 minute drive with ample parking. House itself is very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

We were in town for a Sunday wedding so decided to make it a mini family vacation with my two sons, their wives ,myself and my husband. Our check in was Friday and Ken, the owner was very gracious and let us check in a bit early. He was very nice and easy to communicate with.
The property was perfect for us because each bedroom has it's own bathroom and shower. It was convenient to the wedding venue and was well stocked as far as dishes, linens, etc.
Only downside was we had no internet connection so no access to the TVs and I couldn't connect to my laptop.
It was actually kind of nice because we got to visit without distraction. We weren't really there that much as we had several wedding events to attend.
There were a few other minor things that we dealt with but I left the owner a mot on those things. Nothing that would keep us from going again.

Pictures are outdated. Patio furniture upstairs roof and back yard are rusted and not clean. Carpet inside dining room is disgusting so dirty.

We had a fantastic experience staying in this beautiful house in a lovely neighborhood. It was comfortable and spacious enough for multiple family members, and it had everything we needed. Each bedroom had a personal bath which was perfect for my parents, my sister's family, and our family. The fourth bath was a nice bonus. My sister and brother-in-law enjoyed watching the sunset from the unique rooftop. Centrally located near beautiful beaches, trails for walking/running, and great local eateries. Communication with the owner (Ken) was prompt, and we enjoyed meeting him in person. Thank you for sharing your property with us.

The house was sitting high enough to get a fabulous view of the ocean from the upper deck. The house is large and the beds were comfortable.

Location is a great centrally located home. A lot of room! The upper deck is cozy but needs some work. A lot of spiders, I had to go sweep and knock down all of the webs. Sprayed with off. A lot of space so we were not all on top of each other. Kitchen was nicely stocked. And there is a store around the corner that we were able to cook all of our meals. Communication with the owner was great!

Awesome home to stay in, plenty of room for the family. View was great but it was the typical June gloom time, which we are use to when we visit this time of year, but still love the area, and all that you can do and experience.

The property was generally everything listed in the description. It was really well equipped in the kitchen and even supplies for going to the beach...plenty of space for everyone and 4 full bathrooms was really convenient. There is a full entertainment center in the main room, and either cable or streaming TVs in all the bedrooms, we didnt use these much, but its nice to have. The hosts were attentive and prompt to reply to any requests or questions. Location is good, less than a mile to the beach and many restaurants and bars , etc. The rooftop is great.
The minor detractions are that the photos make it look much lighter than it is, decor is a bit dark with an 80s vibe. (we had cloudy weather too didnt help) We were confused on check in , maybe we didnt read the instructions, we were unaware that there was a side door that should be used, once found , no problem. The only other thing is you will get some road noise from I-5 which is about 1/4 mile away. You don't hear it when inside with windows closed, but temps were cool so we had windows open...highway noise at night was evident midweek, less on weekend. These are all minor issues.
I would give this property a 4.5 out of 5....good value/quality VRBO given the location and amenities. Hosts were very forthcoming and the amenities offered were very generous. Overall a great experience.

We had a wonderful stay and it was a perfect location for us to see and do all the things we wanted in the area to then return to the comfort of a large lovely home at the end of the day. The kitchen is very well stocked as we enjoy cooking our meals while vacationing. There is a ton of space for families to spread out and a nice outdoor space to enjoy the wonderful sunsets.

It is a beautiful and well maintained house. A lovely kitchen and dining room for entertaining and a comfortable attached living room. The only glitches were the 2 futon mattresses are worn out--too soft, and the gas bar-b-q on the beautiful rooftop patio did not work. It too is worn out. The indoor kitchen is well equipped and we had no problems preparing food in the very good gas range. There is a well stocked pantry. I would stay here again when the glitches are attended to. The house location in Cardiff by the Sea is great. A quiet neighborhood. Food shopping is very convenient and some very good restaurants are in Cardiff by the Sea and in nearby Encinitas. We enjoyed our stay in the area very much. Thank you for renting us your house!

The house far exceeded our expectations; it had looked really nice on the website and had only received rave reviews but you never know until you get there. We were traveling with 2 younger children so the master bedroom was perfect for the family of 4. Everything about the whole experience was really really good. Communication with the owner was really easy; the house had everything you could ever want; great layout with oversized rooms and en-suite bedrooms. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the rooftop deck or backyard but maybe a future stay.

It’s a lovely, roomy home with a well stocked kitchen. We stayed two nights for a girls’ golf getaway. Encinitas Ranch is an 8 minute drive. Beautiful course and easy access to this home.
