Booked a king room but was assigned twin as the room wasn’t ready. They forgot to change my room

Great location and friendly staff. I would especially like to thank Mr. Sharaf, the Front Desk Supervisor, for his care and follow-up. I would also like to thank the restaurant manager for a great service. Overall, it was an excellent experience for a 4-star hotel.

I was moved to Marriot Executive Apartments. I was informed of the change when i arrived at check in. No notice beforehand. Apparently they were fully booked yet i booked 1 month prior to the stay and they didn`t inform me!! They moved me to the MEA which was a significant upgrade but not in the location wanted. Nevertheless the apartment was very large, the staff at the hotel superb and the breakfast very good. The gym was Ok. The car service from the hotel to the airport was complimentary and on time.
The internet only worked on my phone. Both my tablet and laptop connected but kept disconnecting. When i went into the shopping mall and logged onto the mall internet, everything was ok, also at another place and the airport my laptop worked OK?? The gym was Ok but lacked equipment for weights. When i arrived the driver was confused where to take me as he had a different hotel ie the MEA which i knew nothing about. Also i waited 20 minutes for the car which then drove around the airport to another terminal to pick up another guest. They then drove to her hotel first. All in all very poor service for the Marriot group.
