This charming and exclusive fully equipped two bedroom apartment each one with its private bathroom has also a separate dining and living rooms. In addition, it offers you a fantastic 25 sqm terrace for outdoor meals allowing you to get some sun or enjoy a refreshing shower on the warmer days. We offer you a luxury service giving you the feeling of living in the heart of the historic Lisbon in a quiet and genuine neighborhood enjoying Portuguese hospitality and the authentic city life (Bairro Alto and Chiado). The apartment is situated in the historical neighborhood of Santa Catarina bearing a unique charm famous for its Palaces, Churches and its scenic belvedere also know by “Adamastor” the Sea Monster. Situated in a quiet street, however within a walking distance from theaters, museums restaurants, coffees and its famous esplanades, viewpoints, shopping and commercial centers, services and many other attractions, the apartment is very near from the trendy Bairro Alto and the chic Chiado, which for many are considered the most emblematic and central locations in Lisbon. Within 5 minutes walking, you will be in the heart of the night life neighborhood – Bairro Alto – where you can find both traditional and more sophisticated restaurants, outdoor cafes, bars, second hand clothing, record shops, book stores and art galleries (further details on its more than 250+ commerce shops, restaurants, bars, discotheques, art galleries and museums). A bit further you are at the center of the chic Chiado (wealthiest area in Lisbon). Close to all types of transportation, from the apartment you can easily reach the famous tram 28 that would take you to all the important sites such as Basílica da Estrela, Palácio de São Bento (parliament), Praça do Comércio (largest square in Europe) and up to the Castelo de São Jorge (St. George’s Castle) or just connect you with the underground station at Baixa Chiado. Glória, Bica and Santa Justa Elevators are also on a walking distance, so you don´t need a car to make your way in Lisbon. Rossio station is also within a close distance, where you can catch the train until last stop at Sintra classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site Situated just a few blocks away from the apartment towards the river, you will find Cais do Sodré station, from where you can take the ferry to cross the Tagus river to Cacilhas for the shrine of Christ King or the trains to Estoril famous for its casino, the Palace Hotel where James Bond Movie On Her Majesty's Secret Service in 1969 was taped with its finest beaches or until the last stop to Cascais which was former fishing village that gained fame as a resort for Portugal's royal family in the late 19th century and early 20th century and that during the World War II has became home to many of the exiled wealthy families of Europe. The owners/managers are extremely nice and genuine people, the property overall is good but it is critical to list that the property does not have access for taxis or rental cars as it is blocked only for residents. With the modest climb and cobbled stone streets this makes it difficult for people with sometime compromised mobility. This is an essential detail that made a difference due to a lower level of mobility for one of the people staying there.
Apartment is well laid out and bathrooms are updated and overall very pleasant place to stay at. It would be pleasant if the owners made sure that there is a bit more attention to hospitality details, For example a small amount of laundry detergent or hand soap at the kitchen sink or even paper towels could make a big difference as these items are not expensive but make a difference whereby the renter does not have to immediately rush out and buy these items.

Lisbon is great—beautiful, friendly, historic, and full of things to see. Very hilly but plenty of elevators, cabs, til-tim’s, trams, to help with that.Train/bus systems very efficient. Crowds at popular sights —Belem and Sintra are the two we went to—even in off season. So go as early as possible. it was not bad getting tickets but long lines to get in. Food prices reasonable. The VRBO was well located with a fabulous restaurant right across the street (reservations needed). Overcast/rainy mostly but that did not matter in Lisbon. Can’t imagine crowds during the summer!

The apartment is exactly as described, located really well for sightseeing in Lisbon. But what was unusual was the level of care exhibited by the hosts. Starting with practically immediate communication, adding extra touches to ensure we arrive in the most efficient manner, and then meeting us in person to show everything in the apartment. Wow!

We had a great stay at Miguel and Fatima’s apartment. The outdoor space was especially nice for our teenagers! Beds were comfortable, apartment was very clean and the location is ideal. My son had a bad case of Poison Ivy, so bad we had to go to the ER. I had no idea where to go, Miguel was so responsive and kind enough to recommend a hospital. We were so very grateful!

This property was exceptional - perfectly located to feel like you are living amongst the locals, but convenient to walk or find local public transportation to all major sites. Miguel was a great host - personally met us near the parking garage to help us find our way, and also saved an item we left behind by accident so we could pick it up on our way to the airport. Wow!

We had a great time at this flat, right from when we arrived we were greeted and shown around the flat in detail, so we were ready to go! The flat is a large two bedroom with a separate dining room, etc. It was not warm enough to use the terrace but it was quite nice… with an outdoor shower for the summer!
The hosts were so helpful, we forgot our travel cot and I messaged them when we were at the airport heading to Lisbon, and they had a solution by the time I landed . They were also helpful re places to go for antigen tests pre travel. To put it simply, great flat and great hosts, thank you so much!!

We had a lovely stay in Miguel and Fatima’s charming apartment. It was very comfortable and convenient with everything we needed. 3 days wasn’t long enough and we look forward to returning to continue our exploration of the lovely Lisbon.

Comfortable, immaculately clean and well appointed 2 bedroom, 2 bath with a charming outdoor space near all the Misercordia district and just above Time Out Market. We attended the WebSummit and ride the fast and super clean Metro. High recommended. Fatima and Miguel are excellent hosts...not one worry and super helpful. We would return on a heart beat.

We had a super stay with Miguel and Fatima. They were amazingly courteous and took a very late booking, helped us with luggage and met us to ensure we were happy with the place. Great location, central to cafes, metro and restaurants. Miguel and Fatima were super helpful with information about the area and things to do and see. The apartment had plenty of room and a beautiful outdoor space.

Great apartment and location, bigger than the normal. Walking distance to everything you need and about 6 minutes walk to the Time Out market. Just be aware that this is a ground floor apartment with a residential units above that were quite loud and late on the Friday night (4am) and Monday morning.

Great space for husband and self. Lovely decorated, great hosts from beginning to end, comfortable and loved the outdoor space for morning coffee and relaxing after a long day of walking. Apt was more central to things than I expected which was nice. Good choice of restaurants nearby. Home has great a/c, sound containment and extras like books, equipped kitchen and wine ( for a small fee). Would stay here again! All of Lisbon is very hilly so be prepared for hills…but that’s part of the fun! The hosts went above and beyond to help pre arrival and also once there! Very appreciated as first time visitors to the city.

Fatima and Miguel’s apartment was on a quiet neighborhood street away from traffic noise. It was nicely furnished, smartly decorated and equipped with everything we could possibly need. A small grocery store is nearby. Our hosts were very generous in helping us get settled and gave a thorough orientation to the house so we knew how everything worked and where things were located. We would stay there again! Thank you Miguel and Fatima!

Fantastic location, fantastic hosts
We loved staying in this apartment. We walked around the old neighbourhood and really enjoyed the weather. Our hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful with additional information. We stayed right at the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis and they were very accommodating. They allowed us to stay for a couple of additional days as our trip to the Algarve had to be cancelled. They assisted us by booking reliable taxis to the airport. We would love to stay here again.

We used their preferred driver for airport pick up and that made things a breeze.
Nice bathrooms. The only drawback was WiFi wasn’t great in the front bedroom cuz the walls are so thick! Not a big deal.
Washer/dryer worked well. We brought our own pods.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had very good communication with the owners, they we’re very helpful and cordial. The apartment was tastefully decorated , cozy and charming in a great area of Lisbon near restaurants, cafés, historical sites...

The hosts were so great in terms of communication from the moment we booked the place. The check in process was very personable as Miguel came over and got us situated with the apartment as well as recommendations for our stay. The apartment was just perfect for us 3 adults and 1 child. Although it was too cold to enjoy the outdoor terrace, it added a very nice touch to the apartment. Would love to come back in warmer weather and stay in this apartment. Miguel also arranged our ride to the airport the last day and it was very helpful.
Overall, if you are looking for a place to stay while in Lisbon, don't hesitate to stay here, you won't be disappointed.
