The location in the centre of this beautiful town or maybe village was perfect. The check in was fine and the fact that there is a restaurant attached in a town which does not have a huge number of places given the high number of visitors, is a plus. It is accommodation in an old building in a heritage location.
It felt like it could do with a refresh. The bedroom was dark but on opening the shutters and french doors, I realised that people could walk in from the street as there was a walkway up to the level. The shower was just an attachment in a small bath. The towels were not a generous size. (And to save laundry I can understand that). The room was hot and stuffy but opening the window and shutters was not an option because of security. The way up to the rooms was a bit dingy and the automatic light did not come on quickly enough. As a treat at the end of the Camino walk for me it was a bit disappointing.

Location was great! Staff was friendly. Room was good, despite on a top floor. The bathroom was exceptional, so big and modern. We also liked the dinner in the restaurant.
Expensive, but understandable, there is not a lot of hotels in small town

Heating. Good bed. Nice young man who helped take my bag up.
Noise!! I think staff are housed on 4th floor and they made noise late at night and early morning. There is no way to communicate with the reception desk. Really inconsiderate. As a result, poor quality of sleep.
Grumpy man runs this place. No smile. Would not entertain giving access to the room an hour early despite being a very wet walker. Others on reception were equally grumpy.
