Good for what it is

The hostess, Federica, was extremely friendly and gave us amazing recommendations. The apartment is close to multiple bus stops, great restaurants, and supermarkets. I would specifically recommend Il Giubileo, a family-run restaurant right behind the apartment!

The unit does NOT have two rooms! It's only one room separated with half a wall, so there is no privacy whatsoever; it's basically one big room with two beds. Additionally, it's not even technically an apartment. The whole thing is a larger apartment you access through a hallway, and then each room is rented as its own unit. This means that you can hear everything going on in the other rooms, which can get extremely loud. Also, even though the unit was overall clean, there was mold in the shower cabinet.

It's an amazing place to stay near the Vatican, and we were lucky enough to see the Pope this morning on our last da

The property's location is ideal, just outside the traffic control zone, allowing you to park securely. Paulo will assist you in finding a safe parking spot. The property is tidy and spotless; we did not notice any issues. Paulo is an exceptional host—the best we've encountered so far. He is helpful with local transportation and offers advice on navigating busy Rome.

Staying at 'The Pope at the Window' was a unique experience, and on Sunday, we actually saw the Pope

I am very glad that after a long search for accommodation in Rome, I came across this place. Paolo, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for what you do and for doing it so professionally. Our stay was very pleasant, thanks in large part to this accommodation. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds and mattresses were of high quality, which we really appreciated. Sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine in the evening was the perfect touch. The Vatican is very close, so we could visit it every day with the children; it’s a 15-20 minute walk past restaurants with great food and excellent coffee. There are friendly people all around. We parked for free right on the street below the apartment. We will definitely return to Paolo's place. We also hope that we were good guests. Thanks for everything! Grazie di cuore.

Perfect stay, safe, calm, and great amenities.

The location was very good, convenient for the buses. There's 3 that go to the Vatican and Paolo also gave instructions on how to get into Rome, which was very helpful. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, pans, plates, utensils, and small refrigerator. There was also a washer and dryer.

The shower is small, it has an adjustable head which helped but I kept bumping into the door and the nozzle.
