Great location close to Imperial Palace and good transport links. Located in a quiet street the guesthouse is beautifully looked after. Lots of information for guests.

Another great stay for a group of four friends. The family running this guesthouse were so kind and we had some great conversations in Japanese and Chinese, including some recommendations in the area. The room accomodated us well and we would have stayed longer if we could. Great location in Kyoto as well.
The guesthouse was a bit dated, with the tatami having an earthy smell (either a new mat or an old one -- I'm not entirely sure), but the spaces were accomodating and suited us perfectly!

Solid hotel all around, one of the cheaper ones so keep that in mind but you get what you ought to for the price.
