Very nice place to stay in Kamakura. We stayed 2 nights and it was nice to have a decent kitchen and living room. The bathroom is also very clean. Room was a bit small for 2 people + luggage but we managed and early check in was available which was great.
We were told it was ok to store luggage after check out (10am seems super early but as I go though Japan it seems that's the norm here...) anyway on returning to fetch our luggage around 1pm the cleaning lady was extremely rude' showing us a piece of paper saying "don't use common area or bathroom after check out" we literally stayed 6 minutes, enough to grab our bags and leave. The cleaning lady complained excessively and sighed loudly during the whole time making us feel extremely unwanted and in the way. Please be a bit more considerate and polite with guests

Such comfy beds and very clean! Large shower spaces with nice amenities. Very close to the beach.
The hostel itself was quiet so I slept very wall, but the walls are thin for road noise and people entering. I slept like a baby with earplugs and an eye mask!

- Bed linens smelled nice with washing powder, and they looked clean
- The lady's shower room was spacious, clean and easy to use
- Most of the guests respected the quiet time after bedtime
- It was nice to meet people there, the lounge was comfortable
- Ran out of paper towels sometimes
- The facility was mostly clean, but some detailed areas were not, for example, the toilet doors, under the dish rack, walls next to the cooking stove
- One of room light bulbs was flickering
- I stayed for 11 days but no cleaning service or linen change during that time
- It was noisy on the road so I had to close the window but it was very hot at night (air conditioner made it too cold)
- The room fan which was on 24hrs was noisy at night
- Rubbish bins were not emptied everyday so it overflowed at times
