Location was good and staff was friendly. Free drinks during the day is also a plus
The bed was quite stiff. Whilst most bathrooms are small in Japan, this one was more cramped than usual

Place looks really good for the price. Breakfast buffet is really good. I love their matcha roll. Very accessible to subways. Near dotonbori/namba area.

Great location. Subway entrance next to the hotel, quiet neighbourhood, yet close to restaurants and the downtown area. Very easy to get to different places in Osaka within a 20-min walk from the hotel. Dotonbori is just a 15-minute walk (maximum) from the hotel.
Friendly front-desk staff.
Not perfectly clean (unusual for a 3-star hotel in Japan). Eyelashes of the previous guest glued to the side of the desk.
My room (909) had the air conditioning box and the room vent right above my head. In the event of a strong earthquake, the heavy AC unit could fall on my head. (How does the building code allow that?)
I had to close the wall vent (non-AC related) because I would get the smell of food at night and a very strong draft, right over my head.
The laundry instructions are only in Japanese and in Vietnamese (not in English). Luckily, one of the housekeepers was around and she was very kind to help me do my laundry.
They are focused on providing amenities, but personally, I would expect more safety in a 3-star hotel.
