Wir haben in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus VILLA IL CICLAMINO einen absolut unvergesslichen Sommerurlaub verbracht und können’s gar net erwarten, wiederzukommen! Wenn man mit Kindern und Hund unterwegs ist, ist diese Unterkunft einfach das Leiwandste, was man sich wünschen kann.
DER POOL UND DER AUSSENBEREICH:.EIN ECHTES PARADIES
Das absolute Highlight ist ohne Frage der riesige, gemauerte Privatpool. Er ist blitzblank, sicher und eingerahmt von einem atemberaubenden Blick auf den gepflegten Garten und die grünen Hügel rund um Rom. Das Anwesen ist mega gut ausgestattet, um den ganzen Tag draußen zu verbringen: In der Früh haben wir gemütlich am Pool gefrühstückt und die Aussicht genossen, am Nachmittag haben die Kids im Wasser geplanscht, während wir uns auf den Liegen im Schatten der alten Olivenbäume entspannt haben und unser Hundsi frei herum lief – ein echt gmiatliches, luftiges und erfrischendes Platzerl. Am Abend haben wir dank der perfekten Außenbeleuchtung und dem Essbereich im Freien unter den Sternen gegrillt, mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf den beleuchteten Pool.
PERFEKT AUSGESTATTETE INNENEINRICHTUNG
Auch drinnen ist das Haus voll ausgestattet mit jedem Komfort, es fehlt wirklich an nix. Die Betten sind bequem, einschließlich der beiden Einzelbetten, die nicht klappbar, sondern fest und flach sind und über hohe, bequeme Matratzen verfügen. Bad und Küche sind ebenfalls funktional. Am ersten Tag gab es ein Problem mit dem WLAN, aber der Gastgeber hat es sofort gelöst. Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei.
SUPER LAGE: ZWISCHEN GROSSSTADT UND ALTEN DOERFERN
So ein Haus mit diesen Eigenschaften zu finden, zu so einem fairen Preis und nur 15 km vom Zentrum Roms entfernt, ist echt eine Seltenheit. Die Lage war auch perfekt, um die wunderschönen mittelalterlichen Dörfer in der Umgebung mit dem Auto zu erkunden.

We had an unforgettable vacation at the gorgeous house VILLA IL CICLAMINO end of August / beginning of September, and honestly, it was spot on for everything we needed. Traveling with four little ones takes plenty of space, comfort, safety and cleaning, and this place truly blew us out of the water.
* THE PRIVATE POOL:
Having it all to ourselves gave us complete privacy and total peace of mind while the kids splashed around safely. The sunbathing area is completely decked out—perfect for soaking up some sun and kicking back while keeping an eye on the little ones.
* TOP OUTDOOR LIGHTING AT NIGHT:
The outdoor lighting at night was beautiful. It set a great mood but still kept things safe.
* DREAMY OUTDOOR SPACES:
The house has awesome views right over the pool and is surrounded by a breathtaking garden. Having barbecues and eating out under the trees while taking in the cool evening breeze was pure bliss.
* PRIME LOCATION:
Just a half-hour drive from downtown Rome, it hits the sweet spot. It gave us the best of both worlds: soaking in the peace and nature of the Roman countryside while still being a breeze to hit up all the city's top sights.
To anyone who isn't just looking to rush through Rome to check off the "big five" tourist spots (Colosseum, Vatican Museums, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trastevere) and instead wants to get a real feel for the city and surrounding areas at their own pace: we wholeheartedly recommend renting this house and a car and taking the wheel without any second thoughts. Driving is smooth sailing, road signs are crystal clear, and Italian drivers are super cautious and courteous. You’ll save a bunch of cash and get to discover way more off-the-beaten-path gems.
* FABULOUS TOURS AS EXTRA SERVICE:
Since our host is a trip designer, she hooked us up with private, kid-friendly tours just for our family. We explored downtown Rome as well as the charming surrounding villages.

C'est la deuxième fois que je viens dans cette magnifique maison ☺️
La première fois, je suis venue en vacances avec ma famille et cette demeure exceptionnelle m'est tellement restée gravée dans le cœur que j'ai décidé de la recommander lorsque l'entreprise pour laquelle je travaille a organisé un séjour de travail à Rome pour moi et quelques collègues.
C'était en septembre et il faisait encore chaud à Rome. La grande piscine privée à notre usage exclusif nous a donc permis de nous rafraîchir chaque après-midi au retour du travail.
Le barbecue nous a donné la possibilité de partager d'exquis dîners en plein air à base de viande locale.
Dans le superbe jardin, à l'ombre des grands arbres, nous avons organisé des briefings de travail et des jeux pour approfondir nos connaissances.
À 5 minutes en voiture, nous avions un grand supermarché et tous les commerces de première nécessité.
À 15 minutes en voiture, nous avions le plus grand centre commercial de Rome, qui s'appelle "Porta di Roma".
En une demi-heure de voiture, nous pouvions rejoindre le centre de Rome.
Le Wi-Fi est très rapide, idéal pour notre utilisation professionnelle.
La maison est très confortable, relaxante et équipée de tout le confort nécessaire. Un endroit idéal pour se concentrer, travailler et se détendre dans une intimité totale, tout en étant aux portes de Rome.

Zum Abschluss unserer Italienreise haben wir zum zweiten Mal in diesem wunderbaren Haus übernachtet. Es wäre unmöglich gewesen, etwas Besseres zu finden!
Es ist ein herrliches Anwesen im Grünen mit einem großen Privatpool zur alleinigen Nutzung.
Für eine Familie wie unsere – mit zwei Kindern und einem Hund – ist es die ideale Wahl, um Rom und die umliegenden mittelalterlichen Dörfer zu erkunden, ohne unter der Hitze zu leiden; so lassen sich Kunst, Natur, Badespaß und Entspannung in vollkommener Privatsphäre miteinander verbinden.
Alle Annehmlichkeiten sind in nur 5 Autominuten erreichbar.
Die Sauberkeit im Haus und am Pool war tadellos, und dank Frau Ornella war der Service erstklassig 💖
