Nice rural location.

Unbelievable hospitality and the food was excellent. Superb views out of the window. The breakfast lady went really over and above what you'd expect.

The building and en-suite room itself was lovely. The tea coffee hot chocolate and biscuits were a nice touch, as were the toiletries. The service was 5 star from all staff we encountered.
I didn’t really like the breakfast, no pastries and the sausages and bacon weren’t to my taste, but my partner enjoyed it. And it was included in the price of room so can’t really grumble.
The shower was really noisy and not great water pressure. And not great sound proofing between rooms.

Handy for visiting Cragside. Food very good. Staff were friendly.
The room was cold even though the one heater was on. There was a heater in the bathroom, but this wasn’t working. The bathroom was so cold! We mentioned it to the young man at reception and it appears that we weren’t the only ones who had complained as we were told ‘it was in hand’. Needless to say it wasn’t rectified. There was an additional electric heater in the wardrobe- but this was definitely in no way the sort of heater you could leave on unattended.
