Beautiful large rooms with a great view. And a big bed, which is so important. Just a pity that reception closes so early.

What a Gem!

We loved San Lorenzo and the San Lorenzo Suites! What a lovely town with tree lined streets and a delightful piazza to sit and watch the world go by. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable, big bed, nice shower, well equipped kitchen, fantastic view from the balcony. The receptionist put a load of washing through for us and showed me a laundromat where I could dry it. The El Escorial was within walking distance and well worth visiting. We really enjoyed our stay.

floors 3-5 have views of the town and royal monastery. superb comfortable bed and quality bedding. quiet location, spacious rooms, stylish and well planned building.

A hidden gem in the heart of San Lorenzo - a tasteful, comfy and beautiful property, well run.

Spotlessly clean Modern and superb decor and fittings/facilities (very cold fridge!) Climate control in the rooms so no noisy air con Friendly, helpful and attentive staff on reception Beautiful location close to the Plaza yet quiet at night

Quiet, clean and comfortable. What more can you ask for?

Large "suite" room with kitchenette. Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Located halfway between the bus station and the El Escoral Palace/Monastery.

Front desk is attended very limited hours. At other times, all contact is via text or email

Excellent apartments, great staff, overall lovely experience

Everything was thought through to make it a very comfortable stay. Spacious, room with balcony had a lovely view, location is excellent, property well maintained, very clean, large comfortable bed, quiet. Staff very helpful and responsive from before arrival, and throughout our stay. Basic kitchen facilities include a kettle and Nespresso coffee maker. Heating very effective. Town itself is really nice with many good eateries and hiking nearby as well as the main attraction of the monastery.

Not really a complaint and did not detract from our stay but there could be a few more kitchen utensils - such as a chopping board, large mugs, toaster.

We will be back. What better recommendation could you ask for?

Everything. Reluctant to say this for fear that we will not be able to get in again! This place is a gem. Beautifully renovated with no expense spared. Nothing fell short nor irritated us. Carmen was fabulous on reception and we would have loved a full week here. The owner has thought of everything and we slaept so well in those fabulous, big, firm beds. Thank you Muchisimas gracias a todos.

San Lorenzo Suites is the perfect hotel--location, vocation, renovation--to relish El Escorial

We had the suite with balcony and, while weren't high enough for the view of the monastery El Escorial, the plazoleta is pleasant enough. The modern, clean renovation with the rustic walls and ceiling make a wonderful pairing in this classic 18th-century gem. Clean, modern bathroom. Good towels and sheets. Wonderful radiant heat in the floor. Classy, small. Belén was the best with her recommendations for restaurants and a reservation for a theatrical visit to the Royal Colisueum Theatre Carlos III.

The two-seat sofa is not comfortable; there weren't enough coffee capsules for the Nespresso.
