Perfect stay! Very friendly and helpful staff, they speak English perfectly. You should definitely book dinner, because it's traditional, the food is gorgeous. Hotel is conveniently located near bus stop, it takes about 50 min from Nikko Tobu station. Also you can get by bus or on foot to some beautiful nature spots from here. Right near the hotel you can get on cruise boat on the lake
And the hotel had it's own onsen, felt so good in the cool weather.
I liked everything, will recommend it.

Very good dinner, also for Vegetarian, which is unfortunately not normal in Japan I have learnt. Very helpful and friendly staff. The Location is also very nice because it‘s directly at the sea. However, guests should be aware that is more than half an Hour by Bus to go for the temples in Nikko.
The smell in the bathroom was not so nice, maybe it depended on the heavy rain

Perfect views of lake Chuzenji both day and night. Staff were very kind and welcoming. Local food ingredients were super fresh and delicious.
There was no elevator, need to make some efforts in walking up the upper floors yet it worth as the view was wonderful.

Comfortable room and beds.
Poor breakfast: The breakfast was disappointing. There were very few options to choose from, especially for a hotel with this room rate.
