This property has a quirky charm and is well equipped enough for our needs. The garden is very nice . We did walk down into Holmfirth town as it's not far but you need stout footwear for the first part of the walk.
there was tea, coffee and milk, but nothing else and we had just come from cheaper accommodation in Hebden Bridge that supplies biscuits and cereals.

The toilet roll holder was behind you.
The mirror shelf was in the way when trying to have a wash.
The bed was squeeky when moving from side to side.

The location is perfect in beautiful surroundings on the outskirts of Holmfirth.
The Annexe is very cosy spacious.
The property itself was beautiful however we had issues with the smoke alarm going off when we put the log fire on or when cooking/ grilling certain foods which consequently we received a knock on the door from the owner’s questioning us on what was happening?
We followed all guidelines in the welcome book but the smoke alarm’s still went off.
This caused us to feel anxious & slightly stressed as the owners are directly below you in the building and didn’t want the alarm to go off again so we did not light the fire or use the grill on the cooker again which was a shame.
