It's a cosy and very comfortable hostel for every age. All the beds are robust and have a private curtain. People who work there are very nice and helpful. Anna is an experienced hiking guide with tons of information for hiking in Piatra Craiului mountains. The hostel is right in the heart of the city and everything is easily accessible but it's not noisy at all.

Anna is absolutely lovely and you can tell she really cares about the people staying here. The beds here are nice and the people are kind. Anna really helped me out when I had some difficulties during my trip, and she really wants to make sure everyone stays safe. It's nice to have someone who cares about the people staying there, not just making money. Would absolutely come here again and recommend it to anyone staying here.

- location is perfect, right in the centre
- it is relatively quiet
- double-sized beds & private curtains
- Anna, the owner, was way too obsessive not only regarding her business, but my arrangements of things/locker/etc! She was talking to me when I was taking a shower (to check if it was me who left smth in the hall — she couldn’t wait when I finish), she entered with me in the small toilet and closed us from inside just to show how to unlock the door! That was extremely weird! When I arrived and just wanted to eat, take a shower and go to the bathroom after 5 hours trip from Bucharest, she was doing her introduction with rules almost for 2 hours!!! She was treating me like a little kid, being always behind with her eyes like a CCTV.
Besides that, she was always nagging about something: that guests were drunk last night, that the tap is broken, the toilet’s door doesn’t work etc. Sorry but it is none of my problem, I came here to REST, and to listen to your problems is the less I want. I consider myself very clean, tidy and following-the-rules person but even if you are like this, Anna will find where to correct you and what to fix after you! I thought the previous reviews were exaggerating about her but unfortunately no. Also, Anna, if you are so fond of rules, in your hostel is written that after 10pm are the hours of silence, why then after 10pm you are still laughing and talking loudly with guests in the kitchen?
