Santa Catalina is a fantastic neighbourhood! Lots of little hidden cafes, bakeries and food spots, right next to a great food market and within walking distance of the Old Town. It’s lively at night but in a good way and great for a daytime wander too. So many hidden gems!
The apartment itself is lovely and very tastefully decorated. That said, it is an older building and there aren’t really any amenities or special touches that, for us, justified the price. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a lovely apartment, but for the money I’d expect more.
You really can’t beat the location though and the host was lovely.
We had a bit of trouble with the front door getting stuck after the rain but the host was super apologetic, addressed it straight away and was extremely helpful. The staircase is also quite steep, which is worth knowing if you’re travelling with a little one. We had our 3,5 year old with us.

Appartement très confortable et bien placé près du marché de Santa Catalina. Les échanges avec l'hôte ont été très faciles. De bons conseils de sa part.
Le prix ! L'appartement était cette nuit-là hors de prix. Nous espérons que ce prix totalement délirant était expliqué par le fait que c'était la nuit de l'éclipse solaire !

Very clean and super location. The apartment is sound proofed and has air conditioning, so it’s very comfortable day and night. It’s well equipped and even has a beach bag for guests to use and hair straighteners. I really appreciated those small details.
