Rental Agreement and House Rules (Once you book, you agree to all terms.) General Principles: • These House Rules are intended to ensure that our property and neighbors are respected. Rest assured, there should be no problems if that happens, but if you feel you cannot follow our Rules, we respectfully ask that you not book with us. • Please respect our property and neighbors (there are families in the association) and keep noise to a minimum, especially after 10 p.m. Guests are not permitted past 10 p.m. Zero Tolerance Policy: • If any party that may disturb our neighbors is thrown, large or small, or anyone engages in drug use, including marijuana use, we will require you to leave the property and impose the fines below. Damage Deposit and Fines: • We have overwhelmingly positive relationships with our guests and are rarely forced to fine anyone. Our intent is not to prevent you and your group from enjoying yourselves. We want all of our guests to have fun! Instead, our intent is to weed out bad actors and prevent situations that may disturb our neighbors and damage our property. • We impose fines if any party is thrown, large or small ($1,000); anyone smokes in the property ($350); the keys are not returned ($35); or any theft occurs ($500 minimum depending on the item). We may also impose a $100 fine for excessive noise. • If you timely let us know that an item is missing or damaged, we will simply charge a replacement cost. But if this is unreported, we will impose a fine of, or reduce your damage deposit by, three times the replacement cost for the missing or damaged item. • If the number of guests exceeds the number specified in the reservation, we will impose a $25 charge per unspecified guest each night. If the number of guests exceeds the maximum allowed by our listing, we will impose $50 fine for each extra guest each night, and either keep your damage deposit or impose a $100 fine. • On rare occasion, when our home is left unusually dirty, the cleaner charges extra. If this occurs, you will be charged $50 for each hour of cleaning beyond the allotted cleaning time. • Checking out after 11 a.m. on the last day of your stay may result in a $50 fine if you are not out by 11:15 a.m. and an additional $50 fine for each subsequent hour. After Booking: • After booking with us and before your stay, we will require you to send us a picture of your government-issued ID. (We will respect your privacy. This process is no different from a hotel requiring to see your ID upon arrival.) After receiving your ID, we will send you access instructions for the unit approximately one week before your stay or immediately if your stay is less than one week away. • Individuals who reside locally in Chicago or in nearby surrounding areas may be asked to cancel. • We may call you to conduct a final screening. If we reach out, access instructions will not be released until we speak. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours after reaching out for the screening, we may ask you to cancel your reservation. Check-out: • Check-out is at 11 a.m. on the last day of your stay. This applies to all stays unless at least one day before check-out: (1) an alternate plan has been agreed to, and (2) payment for late check-out or extending your stay has been made. • Checking out on time is extremely important. The cleaners will clean right after your stay, and new guests often check in shortly thereafter.

We didn’t spend much time, but it was perfect for the time we were there.

Very well lit street in a safe neighborhood. Lots of amazing asian restaurants and everything is within walking distance. Parking was a bit tight and would be easily fixed if some vegetation were trimmed. Short drive to Michigan Ave. We'd certainly stay here again.

It was a great location, but none of the amenities worked (dishwasher, washing machine). Even when we contacted the host, they were unhelpful. Uncomfortable bed and choice.

Great location in Andersonville on a quiet residential street. A short walk to Clark Street and convenient to buses and the Red Line. Hosts were easy to work with and provided lots of great info about the area.

I brought my grandson to go to a Cubs game Navy pier downtown all the typical tourist things. We found this apartment to be very comfortable. It had a lot of extra food condiments to use even though I didn’t cook. I appreciated everything that they had for our comfort. Alex was very communicative. He even suggested local eateries we might enjoy and told us how to get to the Cubs game and where the train stop was.Had a wonderful time.

The bathroom was not clean. Had to have the cleaning staff come back 2 days in a row as the first time they came absolutely nothing was touched. Also the bath towels were not adequate size and were extremely worn out as were all the towels in the bathroom. The other aspects of the apartment were okay and the location was close to the town of Andersonville. It was quite a distance from the train (not just a few short blocks as advertised).
