This is a wonderful hotel, small but perfectly formed, within the walls of the old city of Avila. We had a suite on the second floor and the room was quiet, spacious, clean, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Coffee was available in the room, but they provided a kettle for tea. The breakfast was a feast and they easily dealt with my dietary intolerances. The pool area and gardens are beautiful. We had dinner one night in the restaurant and it was the best meal we had in our 12 nights in Spain. You can easily walk to all the sites in Avila, restaurants and bars from the hotel. Special thanks to Laura, Adrian and Julio for their care and attention, but all the staff were fabulous. We will return.

Historic building converted to a hotel in a most sympathetic way. The garden and pool area were tranquil and relaxing
