Palacio Valderrabanos

Comfortable, super clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms, well thought through. I really liked the design with the earthy colours. It was modern and minimalistic, but warm and I actually found it fit the old structure and architecture very well. There was water available in the hallway which was very convenient. The location was unbeatable. And so was value for money. Fantastic breakfast - not too huge of a selection but very good quality. Easy public street parking if one can walk 5 -7 mins. We actually liked the hotel so much that we said we'd come back to Ávila even if it was just for the hotel :) (although Ávila itself is very beautiful and peaceful and worth returning!)

Location Helpfull staff Breakfast was excellent

Dusty kettle and water jug in our room. Nowhere to hang hand towels in bathroom area. Toiletries underneath the hand gel. Hence, they all got wet.

Perfect location in the old town. Quality hotel with large rooms full bath and bidet. Nice breakfast with lots of choice

Nothing - all was fabulous

I did not have breakfast. The hotel was in a central location.

The TV did not work. The lamp on the table did not work. The bathroom was very second rate…cramped to get in and out of bath after shower. The one night I spent at the hotel there were revellers in the square where my room fronted onto and woke me at 0200 hrs. They stayed for about 30 minutes! Walking around I passed the Paradour and enquired about the price which was 12 euros more than the palace and FAR more lovely and value for money. I stayed in a Paradour in Ponteverde and use that as a comparison.
