La Gancia was a respite in a busy and bustling city. Quiet, clean and extremely comfortable room. Rooftop was extraordinary with outstanding views, breakfast and at sunset…. ahhh. Such a nice surprise to fine this quaint lovely hotel. Staff were a complete complement to the entire experience. Frederica was especially accommodating and sweet.

The location is perfect. A short walk to the public beach and right at the edge of the city historic center. We arrived by bicycle on our tour around Sicily and the staff was very accommodating with finding storage for our bikes. We loved the rooftop bar where we enjoyed a pre-dinner drink with an amazing view of the ocean and sunset.

The breakfast ladies were amazing and as it was my birthday they sang happy birthday and gave me a small cake and candle to blow out. Made my day thank you
