Location was perfect. Near the train station and walking distance to the heart of Venice.
Loud at times due to the water pipes.

The location is IDEAL! About a 3 minute walk from the train station, but down a quiet street, so easy to get to with luggage. No need to drag your luggage over the famous Venice bridges. Easy walk to St. Mark's square and the taxi boats stop right at the train station if you want to avoid the walk.
Also, as a solo traveler, I found the location safe and comfortable.
The breakfast was also very nice. All of the standard breakfast items one sees at a European hotel breakfast. Quality was good and items plentiful.
Staff was helpful as well. I had emailed in advance asking for restaurant recommendations and laundry facilities. The quickly replied both times.
It was hot in Venice in August and the room AC worked great, which is key to surviving those Italian summers.
My only suggestion might be to add a small shelf in the bathroom for a place to put ones toiletries and makeup.

Great location
The AC was not working and when we asked about it they said just open a window. The window didn’t have a screen so we got mosquitos in the room. They said someone would stop by in the morning to look at it but we were only getting be there one night. Eventually my husband went to the front desk to see if they could move us or something and they gave him a portable fan. Not the greatest concern for our situation and no discount either due to booking through a 3rd party. I don’t usually write reviews but they really didn’t care.
