Hotel Antiche Figure

Family suite in nearby location was spacious and just what we needed. Breakfast was not included but we had very early morning starts so would not have used it anyway. Staff were very helpful and even arranged last minute transfers. Location was directly across from train station and walking distance to major sites.

I cannot say enough about this beautiful hotel! We were in the family suite in the annex building. The room was stunning in design and absolutely spotless! The hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring we had everything we could possibly need. The location was superb; a very close walk from the train station! We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again should we have the opportunity!

The Hotel Antiche staff is superb. On arrival they explained clearly where we were in Venice and provided us a map, circling things we were interested in. They are located directly across from the train station, so when you arrive you just walk out, over the nearby bridge and a bit down to the hotel. The only not great aspect was the elevator was out of order. A staffer carried our luggage up for us and down the next day, but it was clear it had been broken a while and is something that needs to be fixed. Our room was very clean and very quiet. Breakfast was amazing. There was almost anything you could want from fresh pancakes to rolls to yogurt to cereals to meats to cheeses to fresh fruit to even more. You do need to pay attention to signage, as the eggs are raw. You can soft or hard boil to taste, but don't pick one up assuming it's cooked, because it's not. From our passports, they realized it was my birthday and a beautiful breakfast cake was delivered to us. Very rich, we had two small slices and gave the rest to the staff. They helped us find a porter to take all our luggage to the taxi stand, which may not sound like much until you consider bridges are the only way you get over the canals in Venice and they all have multiple steps. We picked this hotel based on location and ended up with a great find we would happily recommend.

This was the ideal hotel for our visit to Venice. Great location with easy access to train and water transportation. Amazing front desk staff helped us frequently. We will stay here again.
