Great location, very quiet and comfortable rooms, great soundproofing despite being steps away from noisy Istiklal Street, The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was an issue with our rooms when we arrived due to some guests extending their stay, but they resolved the problem to our satisfaction and even gave us room upgrades, free airport transfer and free late check out to make up for it. Now that's what I call excellent customer service! Just be aware that it is located on a narrow one-way street with no parking, so drop-offs and pick-ups can be rushed. If you are a big group, you have to be ready and waiting, no dilly-dallying allowed.

The hotel is amazingly quiet considering its close proximity to the masses out on Istikal Street (which we loved!!). Love, love, love the neighborhood. The staff was awesome, so helpful and friendly. They arranged transport to and from the airport and it all went smoothly. The rooms are clean and very nice, loved the high ceilings and the old world charm! I felt this hotel provided an excellent value and I would definitely stay again if I was back in Istanbul!

The Story Hotel Pera was in a fantastic location. I really loved it.
The service was outstanding, and the hotel staff were incredibly kind, friendly, professional, and always ready to help with any information we needed. They made our stay even more enjoyable.

Location
There are no shelves in the shower stall. The remains from the previous shelf are a frame without a bottom.
I wanted to open the window to the street, but this is impossible because of the noise of the air conditioners in the neighboring houses.
