The location was convenient for my work needs.
I arrived late and didn't see anyone at check-in, but my room key had been left for me, which was perfectly fine.
The room was clean, tidy, and had everything I needed for my stay.
The bed was very comfortable and provided a good night's rest.
Breakfast was acceptable and tasted fine.
The breakfast team member carried out everything required of them efficiently.
Overall, it was an acceptable place to stay for one night and served its purpose as a comfortable place to rest.
Unfortunately, there was no working Wi-Fi during my stay, which meant I was unable to work from my room.
Mobile signal was also poor, so I couldn't call the out-of-hours helpline for assistance.
The Wi-Fi issue remained unresolved throughout my stay.
There were no dairy-free milk alternatives available at breakfast, meaning I couldn't have a hot drink in the morning.
While the breakfast staff member was efficient, they were not particularly warm or welcoming.
A team member, who I assume may have been the owner based on conversations I overheard, sat in the dining area watching something on their phone at a very loud volume. This felt unprofessional and detracted from the overall experience.
I understand the property has recently been taken over by a new owner, but there are several aspects of the guest experience that would benefit from improvement.
