Situated in Brookings, this charming house for $184 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This is an upper scale home centrally located in Brookings, Oregon. While it is not located directly on the beach, its view is hard to beat. There are miles of ocean, view of downtown Brookings and the Port of Brookings. You are only 2.2 miles from Fred Meyers, and 2.3 from the Port of Brookings. Not only can you capture Brookings beautiful sunrise, but you can also relish in an even better sunset. This two-story home with its spacious yard and wrap around deck is perfect for family and friends to sit back and take in the area. This home is private but not secluded. You do have neighbors around you. However, it is a very quiet and well-respected neighborhood. When you enter the home you walk in facing the ocean. So be prepared to enter with a view through the large windows and sliding glass door. Just to the right, you'll see the 1st bedroom which has a closet, dresser, and queen size mattress. To the left, you will notice the staircase that takes you to the other two rooms and full bathrooms. At the end of the hall to the left, there is a smaller hallway that takes you to the half bath and laundry room, which features both a full-size washer & dryer. As you step past the hallway you come into an open layout with a spacious kitchen and updated appliances. With the well furnished and modern living room, you can relax and enjoy a gas-powered fireplace and gorgeous view. At night sit back and watch T.V./movies on the wall-mounted flat-screen TV. Not only is there a spacious dining area to sit by the kitchen, but there is also a small breakfast nook with a Napa winery atmosphere. Once upstairs you'll walk down an open hallway that overlooks the living room. The first room is a full bathroom with a glass walk-in shower, this bathroom also enters into the second bedroom, with a queen mattress and smaller flat screen T.V. At the end of the hall you come into the large master bedroom with a king mattress and a smaller mounted flat screen. This room is surrounded by windows all of which have a unique view, a spacious walk-in closet, and an open bathroom. This bathroom is just as open and inviting as the rest of the master, from the double sinks and glass surrounded walk-in shower to the large jetted soaking tub with a view. For guests to be aware of: There are several stairs throughout this home. There are stairs to access the front of the home as well as those that take you to the upper bedrooms and bathrooms (only bathrooms with showers). The driveway is also fairly steep. We loved staying at this vacation house for a week. The views are wonderful. The neighbors are quiet except for a barking dog at 6.30 some mornings, but that was okay.
The only negative thing about this house is the fact that there is no door on the master bathroom! Wouldn't be so bad if you were staying in that room by yourself but as a couple, a little privacy on the toilet would be appreciated!
Otherwise we would recommend this house.

Absolutely beautiful place. I’ve stayed in several Vrbo properties, and this one easily one of the best. It’s way above Brookings, and has a fantastic view of the ocean. It’s very close to all the stuff in town. Can’t wait to go back!

We stayed at Oceanview Villa two years ago and were thrilled then. We're still thrilled with the home and location. If we make a third trip to Brookings in our future, we will likely try to book Oceanview Villa again.

The house faces south, so you literally can enjoy the morning sunrise in the east windows, the sun light all day from the south and fabulous sunsets to the west. The views are especially nice from the master bedroom. The location is somewhat of a dark sky, so the stars and planets are pretty great too.
It’s a big house with lots of Knicknacks, wall to wall carpeting upstairs and toys for kids, great for families. But, two of the neighbors are sensitive to disruptive behavior so please remember to keep to your property; they seemed quite happy with two retired folks:)

A couple of folding deck chairs in a closet that could be taken outdoors would be helpful. We had our bikes with us and fortunately were able to secure them below the deck, out of view, since the 2-car garage was not accessible. Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs to get into the house; the neighbor nearest to the home's entrance doesn't allow you to park on his property. Other than the stairs and no outdoor seating, the home was very comfortable.

The house and view was amazing. Very accurately described including the steep hill to get up the driveway. We arrived later in the evening so it was very dark, which made the roads a little more difficult to navigate (narrow streets and no lights). The location was great for what all we were doing. We ate at Wild River Pizza and Black Trumpet Bistro, both places were excellent.
We would definitely stay here again and eat at both places!

Large, clean, well designed and furnished. Master shower barely beginning to have some issues with the grout in the base. BBQ cover could not be secured. Parking leaves room to be desired, as the garage is not accessible. There are quite a few trees in the , "view for miles". Still an excellent property. Beautiful, peaceful, and well equipped. No real issues. Very nice!

Incredible view, well appointed, clean, friendly and with very helpful property managers. Very nice neighborhood. 5 stars are well deserved with 2 exceptions. Chairs should be provided for comfortable relaxing on the outdoor deck. We brought up our own beach chairs for that purpose. The road up to the house can be a bit dicey for nervous drivers but certainly navigable with proper attention to the road. We were so happy with the property that we extended our stay from 3 to 7 days with the help of the Property managers Mariah and Dixie. My wife and I travel a lot and have rented many very nice homes all over the west and this one is one of our favorites. We will certainly be back.

My husband and I both grew up in Brookings lived there for part of our children’s growing up years. We came back for a visit and our son and his family met us there. We loved the house and enjoyed the spectacular views. The house was clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. The online listing said the house sleeps 8 but we realized after arriving that it only sleeps 6, unless we missed something. But our 7th person slept on the living room couch. We will be back and would love to book the house again. Thank you for sharing your home.

We had 6 of us total and the guys had golfing both Saturday and Sunday (Gold Beach and Crescent City) and us girls hung out in town and at the beach. The house was great for us 3 couples and very spacious and open. Absolutely loved the views from the huge windows in the master bedroom and the skylights! WOW! We even had a bonus of about 6-7 deer wandering around the property!

Great place awesome views enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets from the house. Only complaint would be to have a way to block sunlights in the bedrooms, tried to sleep in because on vacation and actually woke up earlier than normal because of them ,they also heat up the room quicker.

Had a few problems with the house this time. Have stayed 3 times prior to my recent visit. Found a few things broken or in need of some TLC. Management was receptive to my concerns and made it right. House has incredible views and the weather mostly cooperated. Just wish there were some nice patio chairs to enjoy the lovely views. Old wooden bench and chair not very appealing.

Property is situated on hillside and offers sweeping views. Getting to it is challenging. Road is narrow with many turns, making it easy to get off course. Home is spacious and furnished nicely. Entrance way rugs stink, perhaps caused by pet urine. Outside grill was filthy. Otherwise stay was good

The house was everything we expected and more. The only problem was that in one of the bedrooms upstairs was a bed with a mattress so hard nobody could sleep on it. It was so bad my 18 year old daughter chose t sleep downstairs in a recliner. Won't stay there again unless I get confirmation the mattress has been replaced with something softer.

Excellent view, spacious, nice fireplace, close to ocean and town. Master bed was great, but other beds need a mattress topper, and towels were very old. Overall the home felt outdated and worn but for the price and view it was a good deal.

The property was great with one exception. We slept in the master bedroom with the door closed. It seem as though the bulk of the heat from the forced air comes from this room. We had to open the door in order for the room to cool down.
