About this house rental
Nestled in Brookings, this charming house for $385 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Crissey Cottage is a cute beach front home, with a breathtaking view! This cozy home, makes for a wonderful place to create memories. This cozy cottage is located in the center of Brookings, down a beautiful and friendly neighborhood. While only .7 miles from Fred Meyers and .7 miles from Harris Beach State Park, it is the perfect location to start your adventures here on the coast. When you enter into the home you are greeted with a beautiful ocean view and an open layout. With the living room being a large portion of the home it makes for a nice place to gather before going on your daily adventure. This room comes with a large flat screen TV with cable and DVD access. A nice fireplace and several spots to sit back and enjoy either one of those amenities. This home has vinyl flooring throughout. The outside of this home is absolutely stunning with beautiful greenery and a view of the ocean that just keeps going! Take in the view on the spacious back deck, with the 4-6 seated hot tub, and create memories by the gas fire pit and BBQ (Replaced in 2020). Bedroom Description and Layout: The master bedroom is laminate flooring, with a nice king size mattress and an attached full bathroom. The second bedroom located in the same hall as the master, has vinyl flooring with a queen mattress. While it is smaller that the other two bedrooms, it is full of natural lighting making the room appear very spacious, plus you have a beautiful view of the ocean. The third bedroom is located through the kitchen, and it is also has vinyl flooring and holds a queen mattress along with two folding, roll-away beds, for those additional sleepers. The third bedroom also comes with a beautiful ocean view and a smaller flat screen and DVD access. Bathroom Layout/Descriptions: There are two bathrooms in this cute home. The master bathroom located in the master bedroom, has a full bathroom with a shower. The second bathroom is located in the hall between the master and second bedroom. This bathroom is a bit more spacious, with a shower/tub combo. This rental is not pet friendly. This rental is a non-smoking rental. NO RV's Allowed! Property Update- 2024; the deck has been updated, current to code however railing has been removed. Photos will be updated as soon as our coastal rain breaks for sunshine. Everything at this property was as described and we had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. It's rare to find a property that has both stunning views while also being close to creature comforts like a grocery store.
Our group found the house to be very welcoming and clean. We enjoyed both the fireplace and the hot tub. The kitchen has everything we needed. The beds and pillows were comfortable, as were the bathrooms. It was reassuring to have access to extra towels when we needed them.
We had one question for the management company and when we reached out after hours they were prompt in getting back to us.
We would not hesitate to stay here again and hope to be able to do in the future.

We booked this property for a best friend vacation, coming from Montana, Idaho and Kansas, we arrived about 6pm with no issues checking in! The following morning we noticed the water in the shower was not real hot so we called the office and they sent out maintenance within 20 Minutes, Harold fixed the problem! It was a broken pipe in the crawl space.. he was very professional and knowledgeable.
Pros to the trip-AMAZING Views, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, the deck out back was private and very relaxing! Weather was perfect 😉

Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach house. We were in town for a wedding and it was the perfect retreat. Really enjoyed all the high-end appliances in the kitchen. Comfy and cozy and just a nice place to be. Thank you.

Beautiful home with great views close to everything you need in Brookings. We did the Indians sands and cape Sebastian hikes, which were spectacular. Gorgeous modern kitchen with all the things you need. comfortable beds etc. Would definitely come back.

The view is worth a million. The house is very comfortable, the kitchen newly remodled.
We had a problem with the dishwasher, the management staff came on Sunday and was unable to fix the problem, so she washed all the dishes by hand.
There is construction going on at the house next door, but it did not interfer with our stay.

I cannot say enough good things about this property. It has beyond beautiful views, clean, quiet, fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, stores and beach access very close by. We cannot wait to book again for next year.

We loved our stay here! The view is even better than the photos! The house was perfect for a family of four, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the landscaping around the home was beautiful, too. Excellent location for exploring the area: Harris Beach for trails and tidepools, beautiful Samuel Boardman Scenic Corridor, and Azalea park (blooming in May- so pretty!)

We loved, loved, loved this place. Such a beautiful setting for a sisters retreat. The house was perfect for our occasion and was exactly what we were hoping for. The owner and manager were friendly and responsive. We will definitely be back.

The only bummer thing was no dvd player in the main room (we brought our own movies and us 4 adults didn’t feel like squishing in the one queen bed to watch them). You should really move the dvd player out of the bedroom into the main room or just get another one. The kitchen was amazing! Very well stocked. Two tables was great: one for games, one for eating at. The beds were comfy (but my 6 year old did say the roll away bed wasn’t, although my 4 year old seemed ok with it lol). The hot tub and view were great.

The view from this house (even in the rain) can't be beat! The house is set up to be able to enjoy the view from various places...kitchen, dining room, 2 of the bedrooms AND the deck (hot tub). The house lends itself to a group. You won't be disappointed.

My family had a great time at this property. The location is incredible, overlooking the ocean. It’s a great home base for adventures on the Oregon Coast. Very clean. We appreciated the renovated kitchen and hot tub as well. Highly recommended!
