I wanted to be close to the train station so I could Easily do day trips out of Rome. This was a 10 minute walk so very convenient. I could walk to many of the things I wanted to see and do. In fact I arrived early and they easily stores my luggage so I could go to an exhibit I wanted to see just 15 Minutes away.
The room I took was small as I was solo, but it was very clean, had all the amenities and when you closes the double shutters on the window it Was completely silent.
The breakfast area is very nice and it was a good breakfast. But the best part is the staff! So friendly and helpful.
There is a laundromat across the street.
Just make sure YOU close the elevator doors properly or it doesn’t wrk. That means both inside doors and the outside door. This is not an issue with Hotel Ascot but with us, the guests.

Proximity to the termini, and sightseeing buses. Restaurants nearby were excellent. The room had all the basic requirements and it was ultra clean. Breakfast had a very good and varied assortment of foods.
