Excellent stay to visit my daughter who is student at Yale. The staff at the Study is very nice and kind and do their best to make you feel welcome. The room is comfortable and clean with a great long desk to work "away from home".

The hotel itself is good but small things annoy (like lack of places to plug in and charge your phone, confusing bedside lamps switches).
The host at breakfast needs to get a job she likes rather look and act like she would wish to be anywhere else. It’s not the first time I have encountered her and she is basically anti customer service. She literally fired the menu on to the table (maybe because I dared ask to sit at the window- the place was empty). The waitress was nice but why did I have to wait 30 mins for a basic breakfast when approx only four tables in use. Ironically I only stayed in The Study because my other favourite hotel (The Blake) doesn’t do breakfast. Guest where I am staying next time!
