The staff from the minute you entered the property was outstanding. From the Valet to the Front Desk associate - so warm and welcoming. The team on the 19th floor was so kind to my elderly Dad at Breakfast. They made some great recommendations for site seeing and local food options.
The only downside was the noise from the street - firetrucks, sirens and motorcycles all night long.

Arrived in New Haven via Amtrak from New York - there's a free bus shuttle service just outside the station and it stops outside the Omni. A very friendly and helpful welcome to a lovely hotel very near the Green and Yale campus, historic buildings and churches. Our room was large and well appointed. The buffet breakfast (you can choose a la carte as well) was excellent, $32 each for a lovely choice of dishes, complete with a view across New England. Dinner in the evening was excellent as well. Right next door there's Barcelona for tapas dishes, this too was a treat. Must sees include Yale Museum of English Art (Louis Kahn architect) and Yale Art Gallery, and just wandering around this very important part of US history. Thanks to everyone at the Omni for a lovely two day stay. Onwards to Providence by Amtrak ...

Great location and price.
Most of the outlets didn’t work in our room. None of the outlets in the bathroom worked. Also, I picked a room with Yale University view. My room had me looking at a parking deck.
