Rooms are Beautiful but the service and repeated hidden charges make it not worth the cost.

The room was nice and the view waa excellent. Beds are comfortable and rooms have all the standard amenities with the exception of Wi-fi, which is only available for an extra chatge.

Service was dismal. I got the run-around from employees repeatedly because they apparentlyboverbooked and rooms were not ready or available by check-in. I was offered a 25$ credit for food in the restaurant because their "guaranteed" check-in was not met and was told the "guarantee" is just a thing they say- they don't really mean it (which defeats the whole purpose of having a guarantee in the first place). Then when I went to use the $25 restaurant credit, my room was charged for my meal anyway- which I found out as a surprise the next morning.

Location is great Restaurant on top floor Standard size and quality of room and beds

Difficult to contact to make changes to the booking Shower wasn’t great Big event was being hosted which slowed down the lifts unbelievably.

We were very disappointed, after having enjoyed the same hotel several times pre-pandemic.

First time we’ve ever encountered paid wifi. It didn’t work. Had to call 888 number. They had to install it manually for each device, which would be a separate call for each one. So we had him connect one iPad and left it at that. No bar handles in tub. This is extremely dangerous. Room telephone to call front desk did not work.

Very nice hotel, great location, but the price gouging was truly disappointing.

Beautiful property, room was very comfortable, excellent location, excellent staff

Price gouging for the period of Yale graduation was staggering. We stayed at the Omni multiple times over the years our daughter was a student. The Omni doubled plus the rates (in the high $600-700s per night) for the whole period of graduation and the alumni reunion weekend. We won't stay there again, just on principle.

Excellent views and access to Yale, walking distance from train.

Restaurant and bar staff were really friendly and helpful. View of Yale campus from my room was amazing! And the walk from hotel to Yale was very convenient.

No way to open my window or have a fan blow in fresh air.

It was great, the room was clean and had a lot of space, breakfast was great, they have free water, which is good because bottled water is expensive. There's a convenience store on the otherside of the street and could cover whatever you need.

If you would like to have dinner at the hotel, you won't be able, they only have a bar, which is expensive, the restaurants around are equally expensive but they're quite good thou. I liked the place but the price is not what you expect. It could definitely be better. The only problem these Americans have, is that they close everything very early, so I want something, make sure to have it before 9 PM at least.

We'll definitely return. For value, it beats the boutique hotels all to hell.

Our room was really comfortable. Great view. Wonderful reading chair in corner with a decent light. Very nice bedding. Well-cleaned.

Might want to consider introducing higher toilets. Nice for older clients. And the shower floor was badly peeling -- not inviting for guests wanting a bath.

I like the hotel for its location and for the attached parking garage, which is free for hotel guests. Parking in New Haven is not fun. It's also close to the Shubert and to great restaurants (not to mention Yale).

I would like to have glasses in the room - a small thing until you brush your teeth!

the rooms were very nicely furnished and comfortable.

there was a convention at the same time as our visit. the convention attendees were very disrespectful and loitered all over the hotel at all hours. they were also smoking inside the lobby
