We liked EVERYTHING about this Ryokan. We wanted serenity and comfort. We got that and more - a sense of that we belonged there and it was our home for 4 days. It was so wonderful, we spent more time there than we planned. The bathroom suite with huge cedar soaking tub deserves special mention and we appreciated having a special room for the bathroom!
There is nothing we could imagine that could have been done better. Please do not change! We want to return on next trip to Japan and will stay at Yachiyo

The property is very traditional giving providing a real experience. The traditional bath was very welcome after a day of walking. It’s in a nice quiet area , but also close to come of the main temples and a subway station. The restaurant is excellent.
It is a little pricey, but for the experience it is worth it.
