Exceptional service from Ahmed, Hamusi, Mwanarusi (superstar), Islam, Said and Sini( at reception ). The location is also brilliant - right by the beach . Most importantly it’s so peaceful and serene.

The half board dinner was 7/10 but can’t complain that much .

The staff at the Ocean Village Club were the highlight for us. They were so welcoming, warm and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Village Club and overall really enjoyed our experience. We would like to share some feedback on the many strengths of the hotel, as well as a few areas for improvement that could, in our opinion, make the guest experience even better. Highlights — The food was excellent, with very reasonable prices considering the quality offered. We particularly enjoyed the dinners: the menu changes every day, the meals are served at the table rather than as a buffet, and there is a great variety of options. There is also plenty of choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner. — The rooms and the overall architecture of the hotel are beautiful and very pleasant. Everything is clean, comfortable and extremely well maintained. — The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, helpful and caring. — The games and reading area is also very pleasant and is a real added bonus, although some of the games could perhaps be completed or renewed. — We absolutely loved the evening activities, particularly the presentations involving snakes and other small animals, where guests had the opportunity to hold them. It was a very original and enjoyable experience. — As my friend has allergies, we really appreciated the attention given to her dietary requirements and the willingness to prepare adapted meals for her. This was a very thoughtful initiative. We would simply like to point out that it is important for this attention not to become too insistent: she does not always know in advance whether she will feel hungry, and if she chooses not to eat at a particular time, she should feel free to do so without feeling pressured or judged. — We always had bottled water and everything we needed available to us, and we never felt that we were missing anything during our stay. — The beach is absolutely beautiful, with turquoise water and white sand.

— The Wi-Fi is, in our opinion, the main area that could be improved. The connection is very unreliable and constantly disconnects, which was particularly frustrating and prevented us from working properly during our stay. This was even more challenging as the 4G connection in the area is also very limited. However, we would like to highlight and thank the hotel for the very appreciated gesture of covering our taxi ride for our return journey. — The staff are absolutely lovely, but their attentiveness can sometimes feel a little overwhelming. Of course, it is very nice to be asked how our day or night has been, but when several different people ask the same questions within a short period of time, it can become repetitive. Perhaps it could be helpful to have one main staff member or waiter assigned to each couple or group of guests. This would allow the hotel to maintain its personalised and attentive service while avoiding guests having to repeat the same information throughout the day about their stay, their opinion of the hotel or any issues they may have experienced. After several days, these conversations naturally become repetitive and the answers tend to become quite general. — Regarding table service, we would once again like to emphasise how kind and professional the staff are. However, it may not be necessary to apologise or use very formal expressions of politeness for every dish served. A slightly more natural and spontaneous approach could feel just as pleasant. — Finally, regarding the sun loungers, we really liked their location, but we found the large cushions somewhat impractical and not necessarily the most hygienic option. Perhaps more traditional sun loungers could be considered? In addition, when the weather is very hot and the sun is directly on them, the cushions can quickly become uncomfortable and retain a lot of heat.
