Hot showers. Food location. Close to restaurants, groceries and Metro station.
Room was a bit drafty as windows didn't close completely.
A kettle would have been nice near the microwave.

The hostel owner was helpful and the area is relatively central, super close to Anjos metro station. Asked for a kettle and it was brought to our room. Décor as pictured.
The rooms were dirty and didn't seem to be cleaned when we arrived. Dead fly near the pillow and a large stain on the sheets even after we switched rooms. During our 8 day stay, the room was cleaned once and the toilet paper was replenished once, as was the emptying of the rubbish. The bathroom has three large steps to get to it, so if you have mobility issues like my parents it's pretty challenging and dangerous if slipped on. The area is not the safest, police and ambulance are constantly passing through the sound isolation is nonexistent so you hear them all night long.
Housekeeping had to ask for the key of the room to clean it which was definitely interesting? We had to pick up the key from the reception area when we had returned.
