The central location in the Gun Wharf Quays was great. The studio apartment was great for us as a couple. The bathroom was roomy, and the bed was comfortable.
Instructions from the owner were clear and easy to follow, we paid extra for parking and it was well worth it for the week we stayed.
Too close to the train lines, we had to close the windows as the trains run through the night and woke us up.
A compromise when you have easy access to all of the facilities that Gum Wharf Quays has to offer.

The welcome was excellent and the apartment itself was super, being well equipped, very comfortable and nicely furnished and, importantly, very clean.
The booking process was rather confused with conflicting information and a previously unmentioned need for a cash or cash/bank transfer damage deposit (one of the conflicts - cash only vs cash or bank transfer). However, things were cleared up pretty much by the time we arrived, after which everything was very good indeed.
The location was great with the only drawback being noise in the Gunwharf Quays shopping and eating area below that went on until 2am on our first night and 3am on the second. Not a lot of people, but a small group or two shouting, arguing and laughing. As it was hot we had a choice of quiet (window closed) or being kept awake (window open!) Overall though an excellent visit and very close to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard which was the purpose of our trip.

The apartment was in an excellent location and the communication from the staff both before and after our stay was excellent. They were responsive and helpful throughout.
On arrival we were asked for a breakages deposit. As there was no inventory provided we asked to see one so that we could check the condition of the apartment and its contents. The staff were understanding and did not pursue the deposit, which we appreciated.
The apartment was comfortable and adequate although some of the equipment and furnishings were beginning to look a little tired.
