It was exceptionally clean and the activities on offer for the kids was a wonderful surprise. They had daily art activities, games, bow and arrow, bounce castle and terrific swimming pool. The staff was also exceptional, barring one guy with longer hair and a mustache in the front office that couldn't be bothered to help solve a couple of minor inconveniences. The woman in the front office as well as the woman in the restaurant were fantastic and friendly and efficient.
I brought 3 fans and I am glad I did. I think there should be an oscillating fan in each room, to help with cooling off and mosquitoes, especially given the price of a bungalow. The beds were fine for my daughter but I found them extremely hard, and I am super easy going regarding beds. Definitely could use an upgrade. I also understand that it's culturally different, but man I wish Portuguese people were warmer and friendlier. If this property were in Spain or really anywhere else, we'd have made friends. Not here unfortunately. I just don't understand the sour-pus attitude in Europes sunniest country. Maybe there could be an activity for adults to get to know each other. It would benefit everyone if people made friends to come back to next year .
