If you are on the fence about which resort to stay at in Ubud, choose THIS ONE.
Our experience at Kuwarasan was beyond incredible. Their attention to detail and the customer service were remarkable. From the moment Pandi, the hotel’s driver, picked us up at the airport to the moment we left, we felt at home.
The room was spacious, fully equipped with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. They prepared the bed every night for us, and even decorated it on my partner’s birthday without us asking—what a nice surprise!
Speaking of surprises, they offered us a 20 min welcome massage. The trail to the spa was really nice!
We enjoyed breakfast every morning, which was outstanding too. A wide range of options to choose from. Same for the restaurant: flavourful dishes, the right portions, and great presentation. One thing I’d like to highlight is their thoughtfulness in serving each course at the proper time and even asking us questions about our experience in Ubud.
We liked the hotel’s overall facilities, especially the pool, the yoga & chapel, and the gym. We had a great time at the pool, drinking cocktails.
I spent some quiet time meditating in the chapel, and I truly couldn’t put into words the peaceful feeling I experienced there.
The hotel is beautiful, but the best part was their customer service. Every person who served us was attentive, warm, kind, and thoughtful.
Thank you, guys, for making our first visit to Bali the best experience.

We stayed in our own private villa - Cempaka.
Amazing stay, we couldn’t fault the property
Free 20 min massage was nice although they did it in the salon chair. Would have been better if we were on the massage bed.
Hiring a motorbike was good, we managed to get a lot more sightseeing in that way.
Restaurant food was also a great standard, breakfast smoothie bowl was incredible. Last thing was the friendly staff that couldn’t do enough for you. They made the stay.
Only negative was they don’t open the gym until 8.30 due to the noise to other guests as it’s on the top floor.
Which is no good if you like to get up first thing and train. So that forced us to take the morning yoga at 8am with Bita. First time trying it was actually good fun (if you like being zen!🧘)

Location is great. Hotel is located among rice fields what makes it very calm and cozy, adding special authenticity to culture and spirutal connection to nature in the heart of Bali. Staff is very friendly. Hotel is very clean. Prices in restaurant are good and food is delicious.
Our room was just under GYM, so we woke up everyday early in the morning when someone was lifting and droping weights. But still everything was very good.
