The proximity to the beach and the clean room. Also having a room that could fit all 6 in my group was nice
The walk to the beach was a little awkward but still very close, especially for the price.

I chose this hotel because it is close to the Express Bus Terminal as well as the bus stop for 7 or 7-1 which goes to the Seoraksan National Park. It is also close to Sokcho Beach. But overall the area is quite quiet. It is a distance from the Sokcho town centre, the Yeonggeumjeung Pavilion or the Lighthouse Observatory. So it depends on what you want to do in Sokcho.
The hotel offers very good value. The room is spacious and the kitchen facilities are adequate. There was no smell in the room, unlike what previous reviews mentioned. Filtered water dispenser located at the lobby. Seems like the hotel caters to a lot of group outings. No room cleaning but I was fine with that if it helps the keep the cost low. Pretty neat set-up generally.
There’s mosquito netting at the windows but somehow I woke up with mosquito bites. The bed is ok but the bedding is quite thin.

Great 1 night stay. Very spacious room & bathroom. Although we didn't use the kitchen, it would have been nice to use for a longer stay. Powerful shower. Perfect location for the beach. Great price.
Didn't agree with having to take our rubbish & recycling out, so we left it in the room.

Great location if the objective is Seoraksan and/or beach. Easy check-in and out. Possible to leave luggage in lockers.
Quite dated. Could do with more attention to cleaning… mini towels only. No drain in shower so bathroom tends to be flushed…
