The absolute best location. The guesthouse is right next to the Sokcho Express Bus Terminal. I arrived from Seoul via bus, got off and directly was in front of the guesthouse. Within a 5 minute walk you are directly at Sokcho Beach. I was mainly there to go visit the Seoraksan National Park. Directly in front of the guesthouse is a bus stop that brings you right to the park within 25 minutes. The room itself is pretty spacious for Korean standards, especially the bathroom.
The mattress was rather hard. I was a bit worried in the beginning but after 3 nights I cannot complain. I still had the best sleep.

Great location across from the bus terminal. Close to the beach (where one can swim). One can walk to the fish market and other market (or get a local bus). Friendly staff. The room was on the small side but fine for one night.

lovely and comfortable hotel 5min walk from the express bus terminal and 10min walk from the main Sokcho beach. The room was spacious (for Korean standard) and bed comfortable. It my second time staying here and will come again.
Not that we didn't like it, but just something to be aware of, the check-in person isn't alwats there - but there is good signage about what todo (QR to contact him by what's app if you are outside waiting to check in, or signs showing where to leave your bag and your room key if you are inside about to check out and like to leave your bag)
