Breakfast 1st class. Beautiful village that I remember from when I lived in the area years ago. Great to see so much community involvement, from the brilliant village shop to active cricket club. And 2 pubs, at a time when so many are closing!
All the staff friendly & helpful, food excellent (we had supper there too) Easy to park in large free carpark.
Nothing not to like.

Friendly accommodating staff, lovely little quite pub in a lovely little village, perfect location for what I needed
slightly dusty withing the room itself, the WiFi was very poor within the room but decent in the pub. The mattress was pretty bad

Set in a beautiful village overlooking fields and a cricket pitch. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Very friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Had a lovely evening meal and breakfast.

Typical country pub.
Picture we received pre visit was nothing like the room allocated. Waste of time wardrobe with hanging rail about 1m off floor. No aircon, or any other form of cooling so we had to sleep with the windows wide open, fortunately there was some breeze. No mini bar/fridge so any cold drink had to come from the bar.
