About this condo rental
Nestled in James Island, this lovely condo for $124 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Summary: Centrally located between Folly Beach and Historic Downtown Charleston, this spacious master suite is perfect for a couple’s getaway! The spacious studio unit has a king-size bed, bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and shower, walk-in closet, sitting area, 55” smart TV, and en-suite kitchenete. The real star is the private deck overlooking the oak tree compound, featuring a full outdoor kitchen, an entertainment area with hammock chairs, a 43” smart TV and outdoor shower at the bottom of the stairs. The Space: This spacious studio has everything you need to feel right at home, including a comfy king size bed, a television with access to plenty of streaming services, a love seat and a table that can easily turn into an area to eat or work. A his and hers sink, a separate shower and jacuzzi tub provides plenty of space. This unit is also equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee pot and all the supplies you'll need. Provided in the spacious walk-in closet is an ironing board and an iron. You can really enjoy the outdoors on this unit’s private deck with an outdoor kitchen, plenty of seating and an outdoor TV! Enjoy access to beach chairs, coolers and Bluetooth speakers. Please note that this unit is attached to the hosts main home and while we are always courteous of guests, there is the potential of noise transfer. For guest convenience we provide coffee, sugar, bath and beach towels, bed linens, paper towels, toilet paper, and soaps. Guest Access: In addition to the studio, guests have access to the fenced-in 1/2 acre backyard, with ample parking for cars, boats, RVs etc. (backyard is shared with the homeowner and other guests that may be staying in one or both of the other units on the property). The backyard is enclosed by a 6ft privacy fence with a remote controlled gate. The Neighborhood: Centrally located in a convenient James Island neighborhood, only a quick 5-mile drive or Uber ride to both Folly Beach and Downtown Charleston. Beautiful James Island County Park is close by as well as restaurants, bars, shopping, banking, and convenience stores within a half-mile. Getting Around: Car, Uber, Bike Other Things to Note: There are two other units on the property, the Cozy Island Cottage and Island Hideout, that may be occupied by other guests during your stay. The structures are separated and have their own private areas and designated parking. The Island Nest is a second floor unit. Streaming services available with guests’ own account(s). Please note that the fireplace in this unit is inoperable. LIC027923 ***We have implemented COVID-19 protocols to ensure the health and safety of our guests. The unit will be thoroughly cleaned between each guest using CDC-recommended cleaning products and procedures. In addition, the unit is equipped with cleaning supplies so guests can routinely clean frequently touched spaces throughout their stay. This is a self-check-in unit so there is no need for guest/host interaction unless requested. If guest/host interaction is required, we will follow mask and social distancing guidelines to the best of our ability. Interaction with Guests: Owner lives in the attached house and is available for any issues or questions you may have about the unit, the area, restaurant recommendations, and/or activities.

This stay was beyond expectations! The photos do not fully encapsulate the experience. David was a very accommodating and prompt professional host . All booking and stay information was effectively communicated , efficient and easily accessible. David was accommodating to the times of our stay especially at short notice. The room itself was spotless, perfectly adorned and spacious. Perfect Air conditioning to escape the heat . The outdoor deck and patio were perfect. Approximately 10mins give or take from Folly Beach and close to stores , restaurants etc. I booked this suite as a gift and they absolutely loved it! Thank you.

The Island Nest property was exactly as described.It was spotlessly clean and comfortable.There was a lot of parking, and the visitors in the other two units were quiet and never disturbed us in any way. However, the road in front was often very busy making it difficult to hear the tv on the deck- not really a deal breaker!The location is close to Folly Beach and getting to downtown Charleston is not a problem.The property owners were very attentive and helpful and were available to answer questions.

This rental is as described. We were looking for a quiet low key rental between Folly and Downtown Charleston. The best part of the rental was the bed/pillows and jacuzzi tub. The road it’s on is pretty busy, so we didn’t really spend but an hour on the deck as it was a little noisy. However, the patio is very nice and we would have enjoyed it otherwise. There is good communication so there is zero chance that you’d have to reach out with any questions. Lastly, I would advise you to leave the rental 15mins before checkout, as the cleaning crew will be ready to enter early. To summarize, we had a comfortable stay and we were in a good location in relation to the places we wanted to visit.

This is a great property with an overall good location in the Charleston area. We easily accessed Charleston, North Charleston, Mt. Pleasant and Folly Beach. The hosts were very easy to contact, instructions were detailed and provided for an easy self check in and check out process. Accommodations were as advertised and the tub was great after a full of day of walking and touring the area! The outdoor kitchen may not be for everyone if you are planning to cook all your meals. However, if you plan to eat your larger meals out or you are used to cooking in an outdoor kitchen, the Island Nest is a fantastic place! We highly recommend you trying it!

Great Honeymoon Spot :)
This was the perfect spot for our honeymoon in Charleston. The property was private, cozy, and romantic, yet it was plenty spacious enough for 2 people. It's also in a super convenient location- only 10-15 minutes from downtown Charleston or the beach. It was nice to be able to go out on excursions and come back to our quiet nest in the evenings. David, the property manager, was quick to respond to any questions we had as well. We would absolutely stay here again.

Road/car noise was only negative and it was not terrible. Strong white noise should do the trick. Everything else was really great. Id stay again.

My husband and I booked our honeymoon to Charleston. This was the perfect experience. The host was so accommodating and wanted to ensure we had the best experience. The outdoor space overall needs cleaned up. Looks a little junky.

They have a key fob remote that opens and closes a gate to the compound. Keyless entry and well lighted area. We will rent here again.
