About this house rental
Nestled in Boyes Hot Springs, this attractive house for $240 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Retro Retreat: Cozy, Moderne, Affordable House in Wine Country. 3 bdrm, 2.5 bath for the price of 2 bdrm 1 bath rental!! We are offer low prices. We would rather book more nights at low rates than fewer nights at higher rates. The Retro Retreat is a fabulous little house built in 1951 and recently updated for comfort and convenience with central heat and A/C. It is centrally located in a very quiet neighborhood just north of the town of Sonoma, with easy access to highway 12. We have an updated kitchen with new cabinets, appliances and granite counter tops. The main living room, kitchen and dining area is open, providing an extra large space for entertaining and relaxing with family and friends. A great space for celebrating holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, or just long weekends! One entire wall of the living room, dinning and kitchen area is glass, looking out on a covered patio and large back yard. The floor plan is ideal for two couples or a family. Two bedrooms, a full and half bath are in one wing of the house, another bedroom and full bath are in the other. The living room, dining area and kitchen are in the center of the house, providing complete privacy between the two wings. The Retro Retreat is just minutes from the Sonoma Plaza (2.4 miles) for shopping and dining experiences, and within walking distance of the world famous Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa. In just a few minutes, heading North on highway 12, you will visit dozens of the best wineries California has to offer. If you want to stay in after a day of wine tasting, dinner is a snap with provisions from Whole Foods or Sonoma Market. In addition to the new kitchen, there is a BBQ, dining table, chairs and lounge seating on the covered patio. Plus, staying at the Retro Retreat is a great way to save your $$, so you can splurge all that much more on Sonoma’s fine wines and dinning. When you book with us, let us know if you like red or white, so we can greet you with a bottle of one of our favorite Sonoma wines. SONOMA COUNTY VACATION RENTAL STANDARDS – Sonoma County has enacted an ordinance that covers vacation rentals. We are required to include the following in our online listing. Renter must adhere to the following rules: • Maximum number of vehicles allowed for overnight guests is 3. • The maximum number of total persons, including registered guests and their visitors, allowed in the vacation rental during the daytime (7AM-10PM) is 12 persons. COVID-19 restrictions: When visitors, other than the overnight guests are present, County and State Health Order regarding gatherings must be followed, including: gatherings may not include more than 3 households; all visitors are to remain outdoors (except to use the restroom); face coverings must be worn at all times, except when eating and drinking; maintain at least a 6-foot physical distance from others (not including their own household) at all times, gatherings cannot last more than 2 hours. • All activities associated with the vacation rental shall meet the General Plan Noise Standards. Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. • Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited. • Special events, outdoor events, lawn parties, weddings or similar activities are not allowed at any time. My husband and I and 2 of our adult children stayed here for four days over Christmas. It was perfect! The space was clean, lots of amenities in the house, plenty of towels. It was easy to travel to see our family in Napa. Quiet neighborhood too. I would definitely stay here again. The owners were quick to respond to our questions. Again, a great place and great value! We were so grateful for your 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath house. It was the perfect size for my family (husband, and two adult kids). The weather was a little chilly, so we weren’t able to enjoy the lovely backyard, but it certainly looked inviting.

Really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for our family get together. We so enjoyed the backyard! Owners were super nice and dropped by our 1st evening to make sure everything was ok and even brought by a bottle of wine. Thanks for sharing your home!

This was a good find for what we were wanting ... married couple traveling from Colorado to meet with our adult daughter who was flying into SFO and then together spending time in Napa to see friends and clean out a storage unit. Two of the bedrooms are on one side of the house (with 1.5 baths on that side), and the third bedroom (with it's bathroom) is on the opposite side of the house through the main living area. So although we didn't need all three bedrooms, it was nice that we had some privacy from each other, private bathrooms, and then wonderful shared living space, kitchen, and DR that are open concept. Plus there is a nice covered porch on the back that provided outdoor seating and relaxing. Everything was clean, well-maintained, well-stocked, and in great condition. The hosts even left us a complimentary bottle of pinot noir to enjoy. We would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Napa-Sonoma area.

Our stay here was perfect. The kitchen had everything you needed and spices. The backyard, the porch and the view from the den was beautiful. . The location was great, just a short drive to visit the redwoods, wineries, and markets right around the corner. Plenty of space and bathrooms for 4 of us gals.

We had a fantastic time. We each had our own bedroom and bath. 2 full one half. The house was cute and furnished nicely. It was cool weather, so we’re not able to use the back yard, but it would be perfect for lounging, children playing, and barbecuing. The kitchen and pantry were stocked and ready to cook, if you wanted. We loved it.

Four of us were so comfortable for a long weekend stay in Sonoma. The house was well stocked, clean, and had a lovely backyard space, including a lemon tree! An entire wall of windows made it feel even more spacious. Josette and Dave were helpful with recommendations and assisted with a surprise floral bouquet and cake for our birthday surprise! Location was so convenient to the plaza and some great restaurants. Despite a very rainy weekend, we were delighted with the house! Thanks so much for hosting us.

The Retro Retreat was the perfect location for our annual sisters' trip. Plenty of great tasting rooms minutes away in the Plaza, and it's centrally located to other great wineries and hiking trails. This was a perfect spot for our family girls trip. The house was exactly as shown in their listing. It was extremely clean and well stocked. Check-in was easy and well-communicated by the owners. We agree with a former review about one of the beds though. Two were fine, but one was noisy and slightly uncomfortable. The big outside patio with multiple tables was great for relaxing after busy days. There were a lot of coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely stay at this place again and highly recommend it.

This is in a great location for visiting the wineries in Sonoma and Napa. Really nice patio for enjoying coffee in the mornings and wine late in the evenings.. Decor is somewhat dated but f9ts in with a 1950's cottage. The beds are queen size and noisy when turning over during the night.

This was the most well stocked rental I’ve ever rented. The pantry had everything we needed to grill except the steaks and veggies. Lots of spare towels and toiletries. A comfortable living room and bedrooms plus a wonderful outdoor space. It was convenient to Sonoma Plaza and walking distance to some great restaurants. Nights were quiet and beds were comfortable. Dave was very good about communicating with us. He even furnished poly pillows in place of feather ones to accommodate my allergies. The 2 1/2 baths makes it easy for 2 couples to get ready for the day. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Sonoma.
