Très beau bateau, relativement moderne, belle chambre avec balcon et bonne literie. Les repas sont de bonne qualité (surtout le dîner). Le personnel est au petit soin pour nous faire passer un super moment. La sortie en catamaran est un plus très appréciable.
Le programme est parfois un peu écourté.

This is a very well run cruise. From the moment i confirmed my booking, i was promptly sent all the information that I required. Special mention to Stefan who handled all the communications. The fact that Stefan gave me a whatapps contact number for urgent matters left me with confidence that we would be well taken care of. And as it turned out I did need urgent help as I missed my flight. Stefan responded very quickly and offered us another available date. I was especially grateful given that our cruise was non-cancellable. , Stefan's early response made it easier to align hotel bookings and flights.
Food was excellent. And we could not ask for better service on board. Also special mention to Wendy who was very knowledgeable and always ready to assist.
4 % charge for use of card payment even if its a debit card. In any case 4% is way above industry standard.

The cruise was really beautiful and our whole stay was wonderful. Also the communication with the team and the organization of everything was great. Special thanks to Stefan, who helped us with every question and took great care of us.

- Très dommage que le trajet avec le yacht est très court et qu’avec un navire de cette catégorie nous restons dans une zone d’amarrage avec autant de touristes et navires,
- Les tours devraient être plus exclusifs pour profiter de la baie et éviter les touristes,
- Malgré la présence d’un WiFi, ce dernier ne fonctionne pas et ne transmet aucunes données. (Pas de réseau 4G dans ce secteur, donc prévoyez aucune connexion)
- Malgré la mention café et thé inclus/offerts au petit déjeuner, cela n’inclus pas les thés en sachet et cafés à la machine (expresso, cappuccino, etc.) qui eux sont payants.

In one word WOW.
Everything from hotel to terminal transfer, transportation, checkin to the next 3 days was a memorable experience. It was the highlight of our Vietnam holiday.
The staff were excellent and polite. Chris the tour manager is a must mention. He went above and beyond to show us the presidential suit and take photos before disembarking.
Scarlet Pearl was the best looking ship almost all others.

Staff are fabulous. However, it wasn’t a luxury experience but paid a luxury price. Better value elsewhere I would think. Even the transfer was below expectations. Jammed in a full van, weren’t lucky enough to get the arm chairs. Luggage in the aisle , broken aircon vent - had freezing cold air blowing on me the whole way. USB’s didn’t work. Like the boat, all a little bit shabby. Broken power points . Horrible towels . Hand towels missing the second day , one pillow each and no spares. Food acceptable if a bit odd? Raw tuna ( which I like) served with fruit and sprinkled with cheese? Location is amazing and the second day is best . I wouldn’t do just one night
Arriving at the pier you have to sign a huge list of rules. Should be included in the booking process. Not good value, expensive drinks. No free bar snacks. A pack of pringles is $8usd. And buy some new towels horrible scratchy things. I think they wash them in sea water

Toller Aufenthalt in Halong/Lan Ha Bay. Unbedingt 2 Nächte buchen, wir hatten eine unvergessliche Zeit sowohl auf der Scarlet Pearl als auch auf allen Ausflügen. Super Organisation, leckeres Essen, exzellenter Service! Besonders Benjamin, einer der Servicekräfte, hat einen außergewöhnlichen Service geboten und unseren Aufenthalt noch besonderer gemacht. Im Vergleich auf jeden Fall mit Abstand das modernste Schiff mit großen Zimmern und riesen Fensterfront. Einzigartig!
Das Frühstück könnte noch etwas erweitert werden, war im Vergleich zum Mittag- und Abendessen etwas wenig Auswahl.

The Boat was very nice and the staff were very helpful. . The rooms on the boat for our stay were very very nice, no complaints there. The staff were kind, helpful, no complaints.
Where this cruise falls short is with the dining experience. We had booked it based on the assumption the food would be like a true culinary experience. Being honest, it was buffet, cold, bland, as if it had been cooked so far ahead it didnt taste fresh. This was a disappointment. Having access to coffee and tea would be nice as well. Getting up in the morning no coffee available until they call for breakfast. Our family of 4 was a cost of $2000 for 1 night and hot tasty food, even if simple would have been better. If I was to go again I would choose a boat with amazing food first.

Would 100% recommend Scarlet Pearl and the incredible Ha Long Bay. It was the experience of a lifetime. The cruise itself and our room were fantastic. The food was delicious, the bar well stocked. The scenery was stunning, waking up to the sunrise in Ha Long Bay was an incredible experience. We had the very best time and only wish we'd stayed longer. 'Chris' our tour director was great, he made all the activities so much fun. We will definitely be back and for longer next time.

La habitación increíble para ser un barco, con unas vistas alucinantes y unas instalaciones muy potentes. El personal es muy amable y servicial, la comida era deliciosa y el entorno precioso. Además intentan poner actividades que puedan hacer que la gente se pueda entretener. Lo recomendaría seguro.
Todo va muy lento pero es que es una experiencia para todas las edades. Lo único que realmente nos pareció que no estaba al nivel eran los kayaks de las cuevas, ya que eran muy viejos, inestables y tenian 5 dedos de agua dentro desde un primer momento, por lo que si llevas cámara o lo que sea no es el entorno más seguro (nosotros fuímos sufriendo todo el rato). Paradójicamente los kayaks que tienen en el barco sí que son decentes, estan secos y son estables (lo otro es un servicio que contratan). Por lo demás todo bien.

La atención del equipo fue genial, en todo momento pendientes de estuviéramos bien, especialmente Crish (muy detallista) y Cherry encantadora.
Las vistas son una maravilla, merece la pena quedarse 2 días para poder descansar y no estar todo el día de aquí para allá (Halong está a 3 horas del aeropuerto de Hanoi).
Hay una excursión en kayak divertida. El menú de la cena está delicioso, la comida y desayuno normalilla (lo mejor la variedad de fruta)
El check out pone que es a las 9:30, aunque en realidad es a las 11:30 cuando llegas al puerto. Tenlo en cuenta a la hora de coger tus vuelos o programar el viaje.

We had a fantastic two days on the Scarlet Pearl and would highly recommend this cruise to everyone! Wendy, Chris and the whole team were amazing. We especially loved our day trip with Giang - the beach swim was so lovely and a highlight of our trip! We strongly recommend the Sunset Party, we had a great time cruising through the bay and watching the sky change colours. Linh also gives THE BEST massages! We were so sad to leave the beautiful staff and will definitely book this cruise again if we are in the area!

Food choice could be a bit more varied being a pregnant person who has limited choices but overall thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Staff were very friendly and the location was amazing
The tender boat was terrible and unsafe. We were packed in with little cooling and suitcases were piled in front of the exits. The boat looks beautiful from the outside but is not well maintained and shabby inside. We paid more for the Onyx room which has poor air conditioning, no towel rails, no bathroom essentials eg shower cap, lotion etc. The food on board was very ordinary and on 2nd night e got no choice of meal so the only offer was fish whether you like it or not. By breakfast on day 3 the bread and croissants were stale. We paid expensive western prices, paid more for our room than others and actually got less or no additional perks. Overall pretty disappointing.

The bay itself is beautiful. The staff were very polite and kind.
The “speedboat” ride to the cruise ship was unbearably hot, crowded, and unsafe. I genuinely do not understand how no one fainted. The food was generally very mediocre (definitely a far cry from fine dining). The schedule has a lot of waiting around / empty time in it. The shuttle ride there and back makes unnecessary 30+ min stops at tourist traps.

The room we had, the presidential suite, was very nice and spacious and quite cool. It was nice having the entire front of the boat to ourselves. The pillows and bed were very nice also. Nothing else.
Everything was a hustle. There was a three hour bus ride back and forth from Hanoi. They didn’t provide water. The towels were all stained. The food was like eating at a mediocre at best buffet. The plated special dinner was cold. I would not recommend this trip to anyone. The problem is that it seems like all of these tours are the same. It was not enjoyable. If the bay wasn’t so beautiful then I would never tell anyone to go. Everything about the ship, food, service, and supposedly “luxury” trip was a disgrace.

Beautiful boat and cabins - food was lovely and loads of it - we stayed the 2 nights which I would highly recommend as day 2 was spent on a catamaran visiting a local village and kayaking. The Cruise Director (Chris) was amazing and extremely good at his job

The whole experience was outstanding from start to finish, We loved everything about the trip, the accommodation (the boat) the food, and excursions, were first class, and the icing on the cake was Alex, Chris and the team, a credit to the company, would definitely recommend the Scarlet Pearl Cruise, but you must do the 2 nights, 1 isn’t enough to see the staggering location.
