Kangaroo lake is a 1100 acre lake in the middle of Door County, Wisconsin, Our Lake house faces the south west which allows the beautiful sunshine to pour into the property and incredible sunsets. The home is less than 50' from the water *Large patio facing the lake * Swimming out the front door *Kayaks, Canoe and paddle boat supplied * 10 beds * 4 full size bathrooms * Outside fire pit with fire wood supplied. * 4 bikes on the property for you to enjoy. * 5 minutes to Egg Harbor, Fish Creek and Baileys Harbor * 9 Minutes to Peninsula state park * Door County has over 298 miles of pristine shore line * Hiking and biking trails Beaches galore *Wilson's Ice cream *Boating and many beaches *Norther sky Theater * Cleaning and Disinfecting per (CDC) guidelines This is what one our our guest loved: We spent five days in this house. It turned out to be better than its photos. The house is right on the banks of the Kangaroo lake. I had my coffee on the pier everyday amongst tall trees . The house is well kept and has everything that you would want. Not far away is the nostalgic drive-in movie theater that will surely capture great memories. For your shopping pleasure take a day and enjoy the many shops there are to offer. Stop and have lunch at one of the fine restaurants along the strip. Only a short drive away there are many orchards and vineyards to explore. Everything is at your fingertips for you to enjoy. Fully stocked kitchens, cozy living rooms, and comfy beds to relax in while you stay. The home has 5 bedrooms with 4 baths and can comfortably sleep up to 16 people. 5 of the rooms have water view which includes the kitchen/dinning area. House and grounds are very well maintained on Kangaroo Lake. The 5 bedrooms and 4 bath comfortably fit our family of 14 included 9 adults and 5 grandkids. Campfire pit was well stocked with wood, weather was cool ( October) but would be awesome to use the lake during the summers. Definitely an A+ property and property owners.

Excellent time was had at Tranquility & Serenity Family Retreat! All eleven of us (ages 11 - 83) enjoy the well-outfitted, spacious home. The kitchen was a cook’s delight with everything we needed to create good meals. Ideal, beautiful location right on the lake. We experienced sunsets, bonfires, table & yard games extraordinaire! Would definitely recommend this Vrbo.

Beautiful house, very very clean. Had a well stocked kitchen and great seating areas for our 9 family members. The outside fire pit was phenomenal. The benches surrounding it were clean, sturdy and comfortable. Lots of stacked wood for our use. Quiet location near all we wanted to do. The only thing I would change is that they have the fireplace listed under the amenities, but when you get there, there is a sign posted that it is not to be used by renters. It’s because of insurance issues, which I get, but fireplace should be removed as an amenity in the listing since renters can not use it.

This home was perfect for our family trip to Door county. We had a family wedding in Egg harbor and this home was perfectly located 10 minutes away. It accomodated 8 of us easily. Loved the easy lake access and use of canoes and kayaks. The shallow water was perfect for toddlers to play and swim. Enjoyed a cozy fire on our last day!
I would highly recommend this home! Great communication by the owner too!

The Island View Lakehouse was the PERFECT place to stay for our girls' weekend! The location is unbeatable on Kangaroo Lake, and the house itself is comfortable, spacious, and has great lakehouse vibes. Terrie was a very welcoming and communicative host. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Door County with a family/larger group!

Our stay was for our annual family vacation. This house was gorgeous, clean and extremely well equipped. It had every appliance, pot, pan and kitchen tool you could ever need. The owner of the property was very responsive throughout the booking process and our stay. The house was very comfortable and spacious, giving us the room we needed including ample dinning space for eating and playing games of old maid (a family tradition). It is close to town while having that secluded feel. When the weather cooperated, we were able to enjoy the canoe, outdoor games supplied by the owners as well as the inflatables we brought with us. The outdoor shower, beautiful gardens and wildlife sightings were a bonus.

It was gorgeous, comfortable, very well stocked, great indoor and outdoor space and a kind and personable owner who gave us all necessary information regarding the home. Thank you Michael! Thank you also for the most gorgeous weather and Fall colors we have ever seen! Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

Great place for gatherings inside and out with plenty of seating and relaxing locations for our group of 9 adults. The kitchen had everything you needed and joint living room area was very spacious with great views. Bedrooms were very comfortable and # of bathrooms were convenient, very clean and well stocked. Morning walks down the drive and along the road were very quiet. The dock was a popular hangout spot with lots of memories made.

This was the perfect ‘home base’ for our first family vacation in 3 years. Waterfront, amazing sunsets, quiet neighborhood, well-appointed kitchen, and pretty much everything else you could ask for. Long before our departure we began planning our return.

We enjoyed our stay at this home on Kangaroo lake. This is a very spacious home and Michael was very helpful at check in and quickly responsive to any questions. The only caution in renting this property is the WiFi speed. It is too slow to do conference calls and efficiently work from the home

Well the weather wasn’t ideal however the house was more than enough space to accommodate lots of fun activities and was super relaxing. Loved the home and the hosts were the best

Paradise for a big family
We adore this home and yard. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for 11 people to have convenience and privacy. So many games and boats and bicycles to keep us busy. Beautiful view with a pier and coastline.

Wonderful home to spend time with family. Very spacious areas and kitchen well stocked with pots/pans for fun family dinners. Beautiful outdoor spaces were enjoyed by all, especially the lake, kayaks, and fire pit. So close to all the lovely towns, shopping, grocery and beaches. Highly recommend Waseda Farm for local meats and produce. Michael and Terrie were wonderful hosts!
