Come home after a day at the beach and BBQ in the private back yard or cook your favorite meal in the spacious fully equipped kitchen. Sit out back and enjoy a quiet evening under the stars. The property was for the most part as advertised and located only a few blocks from shopping and the beach. However, we were expecting a single family house and were not aware it was the downstairs of a duplex( which was quite noisy as people above walked around). Additionally, i realize this is predominantly a summer rental, but listing showed a fireplace and since we were down for Christmas we planned to have a fire. Unfortunately when we arrived, a note on fridge indicated the fireplace was not a working fireplace, so i think it should not be listed as having a fireplace if it cannot be used. i gave only 3 stars for neighborhood as the front road looked to be under temporary construction and was basically a dirt road. Other than that, location and neighborhood were good.

It was a weekend for 5 friends that was fun from the time we got into our cars in PA 'til we parked our cars at the house and entered through the door. We found it very clean and comfortable. It suited our needs for our time away. The owners were very helpful in answering questions we had prior to us checking in. The area had many great things to offer us from wonderful dining and wine tastings, to exploring the beach and other attractions. We all enjoyed the friendly atmosphere wherever we found ourselves. We will definitely be back to the area, and possibly renting this location again. :)

Once we were settled in, this was a wonderful home to relax in. Close enough to walk to the beach! Our only issue was that we had to buy light bulbs since so many were out.

We booked this place as we were traveling for a wedding from CT. The pictures were exactly as the property was listed. The bedrooms were roomy and the bathrooms were clean along with the kitchen. This was an overall perfect spot and I can’t imagine it in the summer time by the water. I would totally book here again.

Location is great...centrally located close to the beach, Washington St. Mall and other activities. Unit was roomy with 3 ample bedrooms & 2 baths. A few of the appliances, however,(fridge & w/d) are very old and in poor cosmetic condition. Main issue I had was w/ noise. Being the lower unit you heard every footstep, conversation, dog barking & toilet flush of the upstairs unit. Insulation in the floor and walls seems non-existent. If u are a light sleeper this is a problem!

Lovely week-long stay in Cape May, our first time on the west side of town. Everything was walkable--beach, Washington Mall--and we got to experience Scoops for the first time :) Plus, bike rental was right there, if you want some wheels for the week. As others commented, you will hear the upstairs neighbors, but our week, they were not late-night folks. Great plus to have beach chairs there already (they were in great shape), and of course, having our dog with us was a huge bonus.
