Proximity to the beach
Road noise. We weren't made of construction taking place next door. The concrete dust was covering everything. The air conditioning smelled musty every time it kicked on. The place was a little dated, and the picture on Booking wasn't representative of the look on the outside. Small details except for the air conditioning. Renters with health issues may have trouble, and it should probably get a thorough duct cleaning. Good value for the price,though.

Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen, nur ein paar Schritte vom Strand entfernt. Strandwegen/ Stühle alles war da. Die Unterkunft war sauber und wie auf den Bildern.
Das Ehebett war leider total unbequem. Es ist recht schmal und leider sind die Matratzen oder das Bett so merkwürdig, dass man in der Mitte vom Bett eine richtige Kuhle/ Loch hat, man rollt also immer in die Mitte 😅
Der Toilettendeckel im „Masterbad“ könnte gewechselt werden, der ist nicht mehr ansehnlich.

The location is great. It is indeed steps away from the gulf. Very comfortable beds, clean, everything we needed to enjoy the home was provided, including beach chairs, beach towels, and more.

Die Nähe zum Strand und die zentrale Lage auf der Insel ist fantastisch. Wir waren zum 2. Mal hier und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Das 1. Mal 2022 vor den beiden Hurrikanen, die leider den schönen grünen Außenbereich weitestgehend vernichtet haben. Auch wenn wir unsere Gastgeber Eric und Brenda nicht persönlich kennengelernt haben, sind sie die besten Gastgeber die man sich nur wünschen kann. Die Kommunikation über Booking verlief reibungslos und die Antworten erfolgen prompt. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man zum Inselleben benötigt. Im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften auf AMI stimmt hier noch das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Wir hoffen, dass das so bleibt und keine Luxussanierung erfolgt, wie im ehemaligen Blue Water Beach Motel, welches sich ein paar Meter weiter südlich befindet. Wir sind kaum abgereist und vermissen AMI und unsere schöne Unterkunft schon jetzt.
Unser einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Außenterrasse. Sie wirkt etwas lieblos und es war trotz Sonnenschirm schwierig im Schatten zu sitzen. Der Schirm war knickbar, behielt aber nicht die Position. Aufgrund der jetzt fehlenden Begrünung sitzt man auch wie auf einem Präsentierteller. Dennoch haben wir hier gerne draußen gesessen, auch unsere Abende im Kerzenschein werden uns in guter Erinnerung bleiben.
