The location and the light filtered room

Very friendly owner! I also had a WhatsApp contact where I could reach out at any time with questions or requests, which I found very helpful throughout my stay.
When I arrived, my room was not quite ready yet, but I was offered a drink and some snacks while I waited, which was a nice touch.
The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.
I also used the laundry service and was happy with both the result and the price. I booked a ticket for the Hoi An Memories Show through the accommodation as well. The whole process was very easy and they offered me a good price.
The location is also great, as you can reach many places in Hoi An quickly and easily. At the same time, the accommodation itself was very quiet, so I slept well and never felt disturbed by noise.
Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this accommodation.
The room was a little smaller and more compact than I expected, but I still felt comfortable. Taller guests might feel a bit cramped, especially in the bathroom. The room unfortunately did not have a safe or a hairdryer, but otherwise I was very satisfied with the facilities.

The location of this homestay is excellent, as it's a bit more relaxed and less jam-packed, but still within 10 minutes of the heart of the super-packed/touristy Ancient Town area. The general price range / value for the area (other listings were significantly more expensive in Hoi An). The staff member who was in contact with me over WhatsApp was very prompt in her responses, even helping get me set up with a bicycle for rent less than 12 hours from when I wanted to have a 7am rental.
Unfortunately, every other homestay I've been at so far in Vietnam was a lot more clean – for example, there were visible, dusty cobwebs in every corner of the ceilings of the room, and upon entering my room I had to kill 5 mosquitos within the first 30 minutes. Every time I returned to the room I needed to kill more mosquitos. I realized they must be coming in through the hallway vent, so my suggestion is to turn on the bathroom vent while you're in the room - that way, it limits them getting inside while you are resting.
The room is also a bit small and the location of some of the furnishing isn't the most ideal for what travelers would need for putting their suitcase etc, but I moved the side table around and was able to make it work.
Overall, it's still a good value given the prices of other homestays in the area but I might have chosen to go with a slightly more expensive option for a slightly bigger / cleaner experience.
