About this house rental
Situated in Lehigh Acres, this attractive house for $154 per night is a great option for your next trip. Welcome to the Sunshine State Florida! Our holiday villa Mariposa is located on a large private property in a very quiet, safe residential area in Lehigh Acres (directly at Ft. Myers located) and is going on vacation rentals in 2018. This extraordinarily and detailed Florida villa accommodates up to 6 people on its very spacious 193 sqm living space in 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and a large, private pool. Spend wonderful hours of sunshine in the mosquito-proof pool area from breakfast, enjoy nature, tranquility and cool off in between in the crystal-clear water. Your private pool is lavishly designed and impresses with the separately attached jacuzzi. We deliberately avoided using a solar system, which was not very effective, especially in the winter months, and had a new, energy-efficient pool heat pump installed in November 2017. This means that the water in both pools can be warmed up to the desired comfort temperature at the push of a button at any time of the year. This ensures that water fun is not neglected even in winter. A cover with the associated dispenser helps to ensure that the water does not lose heat even on a fresher day or night. The world-famous, beautiful beaches of Fort Myers Beach, Naples, Bonita Springs or Sanibel & Captiva Island can also be reached by car in less than an hour. Bath towels as well as beach chairs, cool boxes and parasols are of course available in the house. Do you like to go on extensive shopping tours? Then you are also in the right place here. The nearby malls, outlets or shopping centers in the Ft. Myers or Estero (Edison Mall, Gulf Coast Town Center, Miromar Outlets or Coconut Point) can be reached in 25 to 45 minutes and will tempt you to fill your bags in no time. How about a day trip to the myriad of attractive destinations in your holiday area? For this, too, Lehigh Acres and our house are the ideal, absolutely central starting point. Is it an adventurous trip to Everglades’s natural paradise, possibly with a trip to South Beach in Miami? Maybe an exciting cultural excursion over the Sky Bridge and to the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg? Or escape to a completely different world and immerse yourself in the turbulent hustle and bustle of the world's only amusement parks from Orlando (Disney World or Universal) or Tampa (Busch Gardens). You will not regret it and start from the central location in Villa Mariposa. Do you like to play golf? A simple golf course is in close proximity to the house. Other places are very easy to reach within a 10 to 15 minute drive. A German-speaking property manager is at your disposal and can be contacted at any time if you have any questions or problems. We lived permanently in our house for about 7 years until the end of 2017. Therefore, the Villa Mariposa certainly differs in terms of the quality of the equipment and the details from most holiday properties that are offered on the market. We would be very happy if you, like us, "fall in love" with this dreamlike place and spend a hopefully unforgettable dream vacation in our house. Ft. Myers (RSW) will be served by Eurowings from spring 2018 on a cheap direct flight from Munich and Cologne-Bonn. From this very informal airport, you can get to your vacation home in less than half an hour.

We were there for 3 months. The house met all our expectations .For us who like to cook, the kitchen was perfect, very well equipped. The pool and the pool area permitted us to entertain family and friends.And Michael is such a good owner: he answers quickly to all our questions and problems. We will be back next year.

Lovely Pool
The house itself is wonderful, it is a little far to the beach but if hanging out at the pool all day is what you want to do then this house is perfect

The property was just what we were looking for when planning our trip to Ft Meyers. The location was great for being close to other family that was in an RV park north of us and all of the fun places we went to south of us.
The house was way bigger inside than the photos depicted.
The living room and kitchen are center and open to each other. From there you go to one side for the office/dining room combo which leads to the master bedroom/bath/walk in closet.
From the left of the living room there is a full bath and the two other bedrooms. One larger than the other.
The patio-pool-lanai area was just a bit of heaven to us northerners. The pool is heated so even though we arrived during a cold snap we could swim easily the next day and the rest of the week.
We used the grill several times while there and enjoyed the way the kitchen had the many cooking items and prep items we needed for our meals.
Michael was so nice to work with and made the stay an easy one. He kept us well informed of check in and other details before the stay, checked on us a few times during the stay and then at the end checked in with us one more time.
He is great and very friendly.

They have a nice book proving information about the home and area which was all in German. From an English communicator, we did struggle with the German instructions.
The check in process is a bit cumbersome — updating to a more digital locking system would be a nice touch.

For those Boston fans; is 20 minutes away from the Red Sox spring training stadium. Something to have in consideration is that you're going to be in charge of the overall electric bill (not shown on price breakdown totals on VRBO website) during your stay, in my case trying to save as much as possible I paid $87.00 extra. We rented this house at last minute when my daughter decided to come with us to take her College online classes outdoors, but was not possible because the signal was very weak, so she end up taking her classes inside anyways. Overall is a nice place to stay.

This was the perfect vacation home for our family. Plenty of space, was very clean, and the pool was nice and warm. The hot tub was more of a jetted pool but it was perfect for my 4 year old to play in. The property manager was also great to work with. We would defintely stay here again.

We completely enjoyed our stay! The house is lovely and the pool/spa is fantastic. The weather was warm and sunny and we spent most of our time in the pool and outside on the patio. Owners are wonderful and the property manager is most helpful. I would encourage staying at this property!

The house is just as beautiful as it looks and in a nice quiet neighborhood away from all the hustle and bustle if that’s what you’re looking for! But also within driving distance of many of the most popular areas! Our teens loved the pool! Thank you for an amazing vacation!

Villa Mariposa
We rented this home Jan 20-Feb 29 2020.
The minute we walked in the door we felt right at home. This home was extremely clean.
The kitchen & living area was perfect. Premium cable and other things on the large screen TV. The master bedroom was great, and the bed was very comfortable.
The pool and spa was amazing. Plenty of comfortable seating on the deck.
We had one small issue (which turned out to be user error) that was dealt with immediately. Falk the property manager was very responsive and helpful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and wouldn't hesitate to book this home again.

WONDERFUL
This home was terrific. Everything you need is on site. Just bring your family and enjoy this vacation spot. Close to everything, beaches, malls, entertainment and a grocery store less than a mile away. We can't wait for our next vacation rental.

Amazing Vacation House
Our stay here was nothing short of perfect! The owner and property manager were very accommodating. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for the week. The pool was amazing!!! Having a grocery store a mile down the road was also very nice. We will be back for another stay in the future!
