About this house rental

Located in Pinnacle Peak, this charming house for $362 per night is a great option for your next trip. If you are looking for a multi-unit vacation rental in Scottsdale, Arizona, look no further. If you are looking for a rental with that secluded 'desert' feel, again, look no further. Troon Ranch is the place for you and your guests. With three separate but connected units, there is plenty of room for your extended family or maybe a couples' get-away. While you're here, you'll feel like you're miles away from civilization, almost like you've stepped back in time. So, relax and enjoy your vacation. We take things slow and easy out here! It's all about the amazing desert views at Troon Ranch. Yes, the pool with its natural boulder walls and deck is pretty. And the courtyard landscaping is colorful. And the putting green is fun! But nothing can compete with towering saguaro cacti and the Sedona desert. Padded loungers and seating areas with brightly colored umbrellas surround the graceful curvy shaped pool and offer plenty of places to sit back, relax and enjoy the view. And the desert views and amazing vividly colored sunsets are why everyone comes to Scottsdale. There are two ground floor units (the Troon Ranch Garden Cabin and the Troon Ranch Casita) and one second floor unit, all with amazing desert views. The second-floor unit – the Troon Loft Casita – has a fully open “loft-like” plan. Each unit has a unique feel and plenty of windows for admiring the desert view. All units have high ceilings with exposed beams, T&G ceilings, wood plank walls and wainscots. All three units have laundry rooms, and fully equipped kitchens with everything you'll need, including that all important appliance – the coffee maker. Kitchens and bathrooms have ceramic tile floors and counter tops and soaker whirlpool tubs. Living areas and bedrooms in the two ground floor units have walls of windows looking out through covered porches to the pool area. Deep covered porches with exposed wood framing and overstuffed chairs are just right for that morning cup of coffee or cocoa when the nights turn cool. The porches overlook the pool area, the adjacent built-in grilling station makes grilling locally sourced steaks easy. A deep covered porch extends the length of the Loft unit and overlooks the pool below. With a dining table and seating area, you'll be sitting up in the trees, enjoying that cocktail while watching the gorgeous sunset. And if you're inside, the full window wall lets the view and the light in. So, if you are looking for a quiet secluded vacation rental in Scottsdale, Arizona, if you love the desert and spectacular sunsets, and actually being able to see the stars at night, you will love this property. And while it may feel like you're miles from nowhere, you can hop on a bike and within a mile directly access one of the gateway trail heads to the McDowell Mountain Sonoran Preserve. And, this rental is only a mile in each direction from the main Scottsdale access roads literally making this gorgeous desert rental minutes from the best restaurants, shopping, hiking, horseback riding, golf and entertainment. Kids and grandkids loved the pool area and the chance to watch the horses next door. Each unit was stocked with the everyday things you would likely need. Beds were comfortable and towels were soft. Only one of the units was large enough to host our family dinners for 10, but we made it work. Hosts live on the property and were very responsive to requests. Truly enjoyed our stay!

What a GREAT place to stay in AZ. I cannot stress enough how perfect our experience was at the Parsons Villa & Compound. I was in town for a golf trip with my brother and father. Each of us had our own quarters with all the amenities of home. There was no shortage of awesome restaurants and shops nearby, and short jaunts to many solid golf courses. I plan to return with my wife and children as the spot is equally ideal for a family vacation. We were left to ourselves for the most part, but everyone was friendly and quick to help out when asked questions. This place rocks, and you should definitely book your stay here.

Comfort is a priority at Troon Ranch
Comfort is a priority at Troon Ranch
It’s the little things that can often make a big impression. A good impression or a not so good one. I tell my daughter when doing chores, “Make sure you always do a little something extra. Surprise me.” That’s what it was like for us at Troon Ranch. Lots of little surprises and comforts that created a hugely positive experience. Comforts many owners may not consider, such as: • Interesting and meaningful touches of artwork (not generic “desert décor” from Home Goods) • Organic essential oil bathroom sprays • Extremely well stocked kitchen essentials (including organic cooking oils, teas, honey, vinegars – so many things we didn’t need to buy just for a week’s stay) • Tissues shaped like a flower flowing out of the tissue boxes (now that’s a personal touch I’ve not seen before) • Pillows (Oh! The pillows!) • Detailed, well written and interesting notes about the property, its surroundings, the desert, places to visit, and things to watch out for – like scorpions (the notebooks are a must read) • Management’s timely and pleasant responsiveness to inquiries Then there are the “big” things. The comfy beds. The wonderful showerheads (with plenty of water pressure). Window blinds that work (I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a place with window blinds that actually work properly, except Troon). The loft is made from cedar wood. When you walk in, you don’t get the aroma of strong cedar. You simply feel a sense of calm and peace, like you’re in a sunlit forest. And speaking of sunlight – windows surround the entire perimeter of the loft with beautiful views of the Sonoran Desert and Saguaro cactus and the Palo Verde trees, desert flowers, mountains and an amazing sky. Or you can look out over the calming waterfall pool that is expertly and indigenously landscaped. The outdoor gas grill was large and spotless – the entire place was spotless. We rented all three spaces – the loft, the cabin, and the casita. Each had its own inviting and charming ambiance to enjoy. We felt so relaxed there that we didn’t even go out to eat. We had more fun grilling and hanging out at the property. We so appreciated all the little and big touches and will definitely be back.
