About this house rental
Located in Guerneville, this charming house for $533 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Please come and create beautiful memories at our newly renovated, upscale, one-of-a-kind Wine Country retreat . We offer, quiet, privacy and serenity. The pool is not heated and only functional during late spring throughout summer and fall. It is only 4 1/2 feet deep so it warms up quite nicely! (This house is located in a neighborhood So if your looking for a house to party late night this would not be the appropriate house. ) We are centrally located in the heart of the Russian River Wine appellation. With myriad of winery's located all along our beautiful backroads of Sonoma County. The town of Guerneville and the banks of the Russian River is 1.3 miles from the vacation rental. Armstrong Woods Redwood sanctuary is just down the road. The beautiful Pacific coast hwy is 20 minutes west. There are expansive windows throughout the house with floor to ceiling windows allowing you to experience the beauty of the outdoors while sitting in the comfort of the living room. The backyard has a pool, hot tub and bbq plus a 1200 square foot deck which borders fife creek , there is also a large beautiful garden to enjoy. There are 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms plus a studio apartment that has a full kitchen. The studio has a couch and table for comfortable for dining . There is a pull out bed that can fit two adults or you can use the area for kids to sleep in. The studio does not have a private door at the moment however right next to the studio is a separate bedroom with a Queen size bed. In the main part of the house downstairs, there are two bedrooms with king size beds, a living room and dining room off the kitchen. The home also has a washer and dryer. The main part of the house sleeps 4 people while the upstairs has one bedroom and a studio bedroom(with bedroom, kitchenette) that can accommodate 1-2 adults or perfect area for children. Whatever you enjoy doing ..we have it: From hot air ballooning to Wine tasting, taking hikes in the redwoods, kayaking on the Russian River, Ocean kayaking in Jenner, hanging at the beach or driving up the coastal highway to experience world class views, fine Michelin star dining, unique gift shopping from Duncan Mills to Healdsburg and Sebastopol. We even have zip lining. Our backroads feature hundreds of wineries from the Russian Rive appellation, Dry Creek appellation and if you want to venture over to Calistoga, St Helena, to the Carneros Valley appellation just to name a few. We have everything you can think of within a 10 to 20 min drive to make this the best vacation ever!

We had an amazing stay at the retreat with a small group of friends! House is beautiful, located in the middle of the redwoods, and a short drive/long walk to Downtown Guerneville. We'd absolutely stay there again!

My family and I had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday at this home. The home was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook, the backyard was expansive and fenced in so my dog could enjoy. We hiked Armstrong park two days in a row. Smart Pizza downtown was an awesome dinner one night. 100% would stay here again. The host is so incredibly responsive, and even left breakfast pastry for us in the fridge upon checkin! Thank you!

What a beautiful home, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, tables and places to gather and enjoy! The hot tub was fabulous, with a quick cold plunge in the pool. We enjoyed the local hiking area just down the street and the well stocked kitchen was perfect for our chefs in the kitchen. I’d highly recommend the house!

This home was perfect for our family get together. Plenty of space for everyone inside, but we basically spent all our time outdoors, enjoying the pool and hot in, stargazing at the fire pit, and relaxing in the beautiful weather. This spot had everything we needed to cook larger meals at home.

This location provided our group of mom friends a wonderful location for a getaway. Extremely comfortable beds, and furniture. Well thought out kitchen. Pool was invigorating, and a nice complement to the hot tub. We didn't even explore the area, just relaxed, cooked, and unplugged. Power in the area went out one morning, but the neighbors filled us in on what was going on. Communicating with Shauna was very easy and her prompt replies were comforting.

The house was perfect!! House is located on a quiet street, has a HUGE yard, awesome swimming pool and hot tub. We spent our time in the pool during day and our evenings were spent in the hot tub stargazing. The living room was VERY spacious, bed was very comfy and clean, kitchen well stocked. The host was very easy to get a hold of and always responded within minutes. It was a PERFECT getaway! We will be back.

We loved this home so much and it was the perfect Russian River stay for our family. The home basically has two wings and all of the bedrooms are very cozy, an amazing private backyard that is so welcoming, and is located close to town/beaches. We would definitely stay at this home again!

Everything about this property is meant to entertain. I recently hosted a bachelorette party with 9 women. There was plenty of room and plenty of beds for everyone. The kitchen was perfect for cooking big meals and had everything we could have possibly asked for. We spent the entirety of Saturday outside poolside. Shauna was extremely responsive when we had shower issues and the problem was solved in less than an hour! We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay and the location was fantastic--literally four minutes to Armstrong State Park and the Redwood forest, three minutes to Guerneville where you can find fun shopping, a well-stocked and large Safeway store, 25 minutes from the coast, and close to so many Russian River beaches and wineries. It felt like we were in the center of it all.
The house was incredibly clean and the outdoor area was perfect. Super clean hot tub which we made use of every night (who knew how chilly it gets in August at night). The pool was a bit chilly because it was unheated, but felt good after a day of hiking.
We were a group of a family of three and a family of four so having the kids separated in their own attached "apartment" was perfect.
Honestly, the only thing that was disappointing was we only had three days to be there. I would have liked at least a couple more to enjoy the house and the area!

Overall a wonderful place to stay. Super close to the river and town, yet still felt private. It had everything you could want for backyard lounging and a well stocked kitchen which was perfect for my gourmet level cooking friends. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

This is the perfect getaway location in Russian River Valley and the Guerneville area! Plenty of space for our group of 6 adults, the pool and spa were fantastic to relax and unwind. Worth every penny, can't wait to return!

This is a charming little home that was well stocked and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the outdoor space perfect. The pool was ideal for our almost seven year old and there were ample pool toys to keep him entertained. We had a wonderful, comfortable stay and would definitely like to return one day.

Shauna was a great host and responded right away for any concern we had. We love to cook and made all our meals in the well equipped kitchen.
The upstairs (2 bedrooms and kitchenet) worked well for
my daughter's family with 2 teenage kids.
The other 2 bedrooms were great for me and my husband and my daughter with 2 young children (5 and 2). All the beds were very comfortable.
Pool was nice but on the cool side in June. Lots of pool toys.
Very close to Armstrong Redwood Forest. This is definitely a place we would like to stay again.

Our family group of 6 enjoyed very much our stay in this attractive, updated house. The backyard was beautiful and secluded with lots of comfortable seating as well as a nice pool, hot tub, and grill. Although the pool water was still quite cool in early June, that didn't prevent the kids from enjoying it! The house is very well stocked with dishes, cookware, and other amenities, and the beds were very comfortable. We loved its open-to-nature, large back windows. It is really a lovely place to stay!

Perfect accommodations to celebrate our granddaughters graduation from Sonoma State University. Shopping and restaurants were nearby. Only suggestion would be tissues and hand towels on site but that was just a minor inconvenience. Backyard is an entertainer’s delight with a pool, hot tub, fire pit, and room for corn hole!

We had a great experience staying at the house. Lots of space for our 2 families of teens, kids, and parents. The kids loved having their own part of the house and the parents enjoyed the very comfortable king beds downstairs.
Even though we visited during the winter (it rained the whole time), we enjoyed our time inside the house. It was clean, with everything we needed: the kitchen is well stocked and the living room has comfortable furniture, board games, and is set up to watch movies. The fireplace in the living room was very warm and the hot tub was large and clean.
The garden is nicely maintained and is surrounded by large trees. The pool seemed fun!
The manager was very responsive and welcoming. We didn’t have much signal, so the strong internet bandwidth house was very useful.
Would love to stay there again!

The house worked well for us to be able to spread out - with 3 generations of family together that was fantastic. Shauna was super quick to respond and very helpful during our stay. The pool and hot tub were hits, and the yard was great for our 2 small dogs.

The outside seating areas were extraordinary, large windows looking out to beautiful yard in the back, the decor was very nice, and the host included many amenities so if we forgot to pack something it was there. The table was set and fresh flowers throughout the house. Outdoor grill in perfect condition. Our stay was very comfortable.

There were 5 of us and the house provided plenty of room to spread out. Beds were all comfortable. I'm glad I was aware that none of the bedrooms had a connected bath. It all worked out though. Kitchen had plenty of dishes but could use an update on the flatware and coffee maker. We had to keep washing forks. We all loved the backyard and spent lots of time lounging out there. Shauna was very helpful with winery/restaurant suggestions. Don't miss boon eat+drink. Best meal of the trip! Our favorite winery was the close by Porter-Bass. Very down home and chill. Just like Guerneville. We hope to come back and would definitely stay at Shauna's place again.

My group of 7 friends and I (ages 59-69) thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home! We had plenty of room to spread out and it has a well stocked kitchen. The pool, hot tub and fire pit were a plus to the large and beautiful backyard garden and patio area that included plenty of comfortable seating for all of us.

The home is amazing. Had plenty of space, was clean, had everything we needed, the pool and hot tub were great, and the location was very convenient and we had a lot of fun. Host was very communicative and helpful, but we really didn't need much because it was straightforward. Really a lot of fun and couldn't recommend the home more.

House was everything I expected from the pics and reviews. It was very convenient to a Safeway, river and Redwoods. My family included my grown children, my older brother and 99 year old mother. Everyone loved it! Only advice - bring own bath soap and shampoo.
