Our GARDEN room, with off street parking, is cozy and private, and is in the middle of all the famous attractions that draw people to Newport. You are within walking distance to the beautifully landscaped MANSIONS along BELLEVUE AVENUE. The unmatched beauty of our CLIFF WALK (just 7 minute walk from the house) and our 10 MILE OCEAN DRIVE is breath-taking! Just down the street is a small private beach (also 7 minutes from the house) available to walkers, swimmers and sun bathers. We have always loved Newport and have found it amazingly beautiful, relaxing and exciting. Newport was listed on ABC GOOD MORNING AMERICA as one of the 10 MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACES IN AMERICA. You will enjoy watching their news video. The URL for Good Morning America's Video can be found in a Google search using key words "GMA's 10 Most Beautiful Places in America". With a personal kitchen for your use, our GARDEN Room allows you the choice of cooking your own meals or dining out in one of our many wonderful area restaurants. The Garden Room consists of ONE LARGE ROOM with a queen bed, a sitting area, a full bath and a private kitchen. We also have a TV with Dish satellite and digital channels, a DVD player, and a small library. You can hear the ocean waves at night and have views of ALMY POND. This room is rented from March through November.
The BEACH, the CLIFF WALK, the MANSIONS and SALVE REGINA UNIVERSITY CAMPUS are all within two blocks of us. DOWNTOWN NEWPORT is 3/4 mile to the north.
Conveniently located for you to enjoy the summer's annual NEWPORT MUSIC FESTIVAL, NEWPORT JAZZ AND FOLK FESTIVALS. Stay with us, ride bikes and avoid the traffic. Come and surf, swim, fish, bike, paddle board, sail or just relax. Just spending the day sitting on the rocks by the water on the Cliff Walk or Ocean Drive can be a delightfully, relaxing experience.
Enjoy our yard, and sleep peacefully in our quiet location when you return from your escapades each evening.

Great communication with the host from booking to check out. We were greeted upon arrival. This was one of the best appointed places that we have stayed at. Beautiful decor and the most amazing towels. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need.There were beautiful flowers that I am guessing were from the yard. The location was in a quiet neighborhood but convenient to everything. We walked to Cliff Walk and to Belcourt Mansion. There are several mansions within walking distance if you wanted to stroll the area. Brenton Point State park is a short drive away on Ocean Drive and a great place to watch the sunset. If we make it back to Newport, I would definitely stay here again!

Great little place - really impressive in the details - Native bath products, super plush Brooks Brothers towels. I think I’m ruined I need to buy some now really nice people. If you’re going there to see the mansions definitely get the individual membership and sign up for as many guided tours as possible they’re amazing and worth every dollar if not three times the cost. Also Uber when you can because parking in town sucks both availability and cost.

Loved our little getaway! It has been constructed from part of the garage on the property. There is a small kitchen straight ahead of the entry, with many steps (16?) directly to the left of the entry that lead to the top floor, where there is a bathroom and a charming combination bedroom/sitting area. It is filled with light from all the windows and two skylights, with a view of trees. It was like staying in a tree house. We loved having wine and the appetizers there which we prepared in the kitchen nearly every evening. Our host, Lou, came out of the main house and greeted us as soon as we arrived—very friendly and helpful! The location is so quiet and peaceful, yet so close to the mansions and downtown. Highly recommend!

Warm, comfortable apartment in the absolutely best part of Newport. Very close to all the beautiful mansions & museums. Extremely clean and fully stocked with the essentials. Lou is a great host. We will stay here whenever we come to Newport. Thanks again Lou!!
